I was captured by the storyline and character's right in the first few pages. Truly an excellent story of family relationships and wartime.

Historia
Heather Mulgrew's world is already mapped out: She is going to travel abroad with her friends after college, come back to a great career in September, and head into a life where not much is left to chance. But that was before an encounter on an overnight train introduces her to Jack, a passionate adventurer who changes the course of her journey and her life. Throwing Heather's careful itinerary to the wind, they follow Jack's grandfather's journal through post-World War II era Europe: Vienna, Budapest, Turkey - exotic places that serve only to heighten their feelings.

Lackluster
Revisado: 06-26-17
Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?
I would not recommend this book. I wanted to like it, and I am really not that hard to please. I usually don't have high expectations but this book was anticlimactic in too many ways. I felt like I was being strung along and continued to wait for some turn of events that would finally grab my interest or pull me in. It was very uninspired and honestly just some recycled storyline of too many other books.
Has The Map That Leads to You turned you off from other books in this genre?
No, it has not.
Have you listened to any of Brittany Presley’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
Her performance was excellent, it was the storyline and content of the book that was uninspired.
Was The Map That Leads to You worth the listening time?
No, unfortunately it was not!

Lily hasn’t always had it easy, but that’s never stopped her from working hard for the life she wants. She’s come a long way from the small town where she grew up—she graduated from college, moved to Boston, and started her own business. And when she feels a spark with a gorgeous neurosurgeon named Ryle Kincaid, everything in Lily’s life seems too good to be true.
