Acting In Chicago is Fantastic
Revisado: 01-07-23
I'm overjoyed that Chris Ago's Acting in Chicago is now available as an audio book on audible! Despite the fact that I am from Arizona, this book was a huge help to me. Chris gives the reader or listener honest information on how to make money doing voice overs, commercials, film, and television. I appreciate how straightforward and to the point it is. This is very useful information.
I've already listened to the fourth edition of Acting in Chicago twice, and I've heard the previous edition more than six times. I did that because I wanted to absorb as much knowledge as I could from Chris Agos. Most of this audio book I listened to while working as a maintenance worker.
I was always listening and picking up information as I was maintaining the in outdoor gardening, bringing out the trash, or cleaning the school facilities where I work. You can learn this information and gain this knowledge. Acting in Chicago by Chris Agos, in my opinion, gives you the inspiration you need to keep going after your passion for acting.
Thanks a lot, Chris Agos. With the help of this audio book, I was able to get through some difficult times and prepare for my first significant acting role with HBO Max. I've already mentioned how thrilled I am that Chris Ago's audio book, Acting in Chicago, is available on Audible. I can't wait for upcoming books.

I highly recommend this to Actors
Revisado: 12-15-20
Working after is a very well written book by David Dean Botrell. The advice in the stories that are told in this book are very moving and gives you information on what actors come across while pursuing a career. He talks about the good the bad and the ugly of course. I love books like this that inform the reader that it's not all sunshine and rainbows. David is not trying to discourage actors from pursuing their dreams. In fact he does the exact opposite but wants actors to understand that is not easy pursuing your dreams and only the ones who truly work hard and never give up will ultimately reach their goals in the world of acting. At least that is my take on what I read. this book has reminded me to stay humble and nice to others especially to other actors who are just starting out because we were all there at one time. I want to be the guy who helps others as well so that other actors can possibly dodge less bullets along their journey as an Actor. Thank you for this amazing book, Dave. I really do appreciate it and I hope to hear more of your stories in the near future.

Historia
Jenna Fischer's Hollywood journey began at the age of 22 when she moved to Los Angeles from her hometown of St. Louis. She was determined, confident, and ready to work hard. So, what could go wrong? Uh, basically everything. The path to being a professional actor was so much more vast and competitive than she’d imagined. It would be eight long years before she landed her iconic role on The Office, nearly a decade of frustration, rejection, and doubt. If only she’d had a handbook for the aspiring actor. Or, better yet, someone to show her the way. Jenna wants to be that person for you.
