Easy to start this book right after the last book. I really like how the MC is able to explore different terrain without her entering a dungeon that magically, drastically change the environment. EASILY in my Top Five of this genre.

It's funny. I bought book one because the premise, cover, and series name caught my eye. I bought book four next during a 2 for 1 credit sale. I decided that I needed to actually listen to book one. I listened to book one only to proceed to buy the remaining books in the series. EASILY in my Top Five of this genre.

These books are hard to put down err... pause. If I did not need to sleep or work I would be caught up on the series already. EASILY in my Top Five for this genre.

I am binge listening to the series. The only thing I would change is that I would add more mango. This series is EASILY in my Top Five.

Love the series, the MC and world are a delight to listen about. The Author is really skilled with cliffhangers to the point that I'm going to be upset when I finally catch up with the series. The Narrator is very good, enjoyable to listen to. I would say this series is EASILY in my Top Five of the Genre.

Very good book, great performance by Heath Miller. I pre-ordered book 3 already. I expect my least favorite part for book 3 is that its length is not listed reaching 20hrs or more.

Heath Miller does a great job with the narration of Haylock Jobson's amazing story. Comedic, great length, great narrator. 5/5 Stars

love the series as a whole, but this one went off the rails bad. Landry's abilities make no sense.

The books intended audience is hard to gage. The author/narrator reads the book and it feels like a parent reading to a kid. The story comes off as more of a fairy tale and the litrpg aspect of levels and skills have no real appearance. The MC is rather innocent/naive even somewhat childish so the story feels like it's for a 10 yo. The MC is 15 yo and has going through puberty scenes, including taking a magical video of his genitalia by accident when he had to pee that many people including family and pretty girls saw. Other times there's brutal violence so it's hard to figure out who the intended audience is. The build up is non existent for any type of challenge for the MC and the villain(s) were lackluster. Some sections seemed like when you're stuck watching a kids movie/show where things are added last minute to tie up loose ends that don't make sense but have you going "huh, ok I guess". I'd say it's not the worst book I've listened to but I'm probably not going to listen to it again.
