Historia
In the middle of the night, in a house on a quiet street in suburban Minneapolis, intruders silently murder Luke Ellis' parents and load him into a black SUV. The operation takes less than two minutes. Luke will wake up at The Institute, in a room that looks just like his own, except there's no window. And outside his door are other doors, behind which are other kids with special talents - telekinesis and telepathy - who got to this place the same way Luke did: Kalisha, Nick, George, Iris, and 10-year-old Avery Dixon.

Different for king.
Revisado: 04-12-23
I have been a fan of Stephen king for years. I have liked some of his books a lot and considered myself a fan. Some not so much and This one to me was far from his best in my opinion. He is a master of description so much you feel like you are there and I guess that is why I am not a great fan of this book. It was the kid thing.

Can’t imagine living in Alaska.
Revisado: 12-21-21
I always wanted to go to Alaska until I was treated to a trip and saw for myself how difficult it must be to make you home there. I was there during the summer and in a hotel and I knew that the isolation in the winter month must be frightening and also I am not a fan of winter. I think this story is so true and something like it probably really happens all the time. Good job

Historia
Fly Away is the story of three women who have lost their way and need each other - plus a miracle - to transform their lives. An emotionally-complex, heart-wrenching novel about love, family, motherhood, loss, and redemption, Fly Away reminds us that where there is life, there is hope and where there is love, there is forgiveness. Told with her trademark visceral storytelling and illuminating prose, Kristin Hannah reveals why she is one of the most beloved writers of our day.

Revisado: 08-02-21
This book to me even through well written was very depressing and one of those stories that I knew would end ok but took so long to get there. I would not recommend it to anyone that suffers with depression. Too long.

Great Read
Revisado: 07-21-20
This story was so heart-renderingstorie I have ever listened to mainly because I am from the south and only six years old when the war ended. I do not think I was ever aware of the hardships of the black people on a personal way like this author portrayed this story. Such a good read.

Historia
Pediatrician Kent Abner received the package on a beautiful April morning. Inside was a cheap trinket, a golden egg that could be opened into two halves. When he pried it apart, highly toxic airborne fumes entered his body - and killed him. After Eve Dallas calls the hazmat team - and undergoes testing to reassure both her and her husband that she hasn’t been exposed - it’s time to look into Dr. Abner’s past and relationships. Not every victim Eve encounters is an angel, but it seems that Abner came pretty close.

Revisado: 05-23-18
This is a great story, partially based on truth but skillfully told by a great performance. I think it is the best book I've listened to in a long time. Strongly recommend it. Wish I could find another book this well written and read but they are few and far between. Thank you Miss Wingate, can't wait for your next story.
