great book with one small exception

I found this book to be very well written with the exception that the names are very hard for a dumb English speaker to follow. Many of them are very similar and it added some confusion for me as an audio listener. The orator was exceptional throughout. She really carried this book out of the weeds for me and got me through the hump of "should I finish this?".

Excellent narration carries some of the slower parts. I love that it parallels one of my favorite series Dungeon born. this is set in the same universe and helps draw you in with the little nods to the original here and there.

I wouldn't recommend they buy it on audible, as the production is unfinished

I would possibly purchase another novel by the author.
How did the narrator detract from the book?
The narrator was unedited. He said things in various different tones of voice over and over and he even said phrases like "man there a lot of typos in this book".
Was The Man He Never Was worth the listening time?
Perhaps if they actually finished it.
