Historia
‘At first glance it could have been anything – a stone, a knotted root – until you looked more closely. Thrusting out of the wet earth, its bones visible through rags of flesh, was a decomposing hand…’It was eight years ago that they found the body buried on the moor. They were certain that this was one of psychotic rapist and multiple murderer Jerome Monk’s teenage victims. Which left just two more bodies to find.

Revisado: 12-10-19
I absolutely loved Guilty Not Guilty! Martin Jarvis's brilliant narrative performance elevates this book, it's characters, and the emotions that run amok to an entirely new level!! The shocking conclusion is one that completely blind slighted me!
The son of the thrilling horse racing mystery writer, Dick Francis, Felix Francis has followed in his father's footsteps, then and co-writing four novels with him prior to his death, he has become a brilliant writer in his own right!

3 star story rounded to 4★'s
Revisado: 06-11-19
Not a Joe O'Laughin novel. It's primarily a Vincent Ruiz novel. I love Ruiz so I decided to listen. Readers can skip this book in the O'Laughin series as it has no relevance to Joe's story.
Story dragged for me but the explosive, dramatic last part of the book made it worth listening to.
As usual, Sean Barrett's narrative performance is outstanding! He made this audiobook much more enjoyable than the book format. Story dragged for me but the explosive, dramatic last part of the book made it worth listening to.

From the international best-selling author of Eeny Meeny comes the second thriller in the truly excellent series featuring Detective Helen Grace. A man’s body is found in an empty house. A gruesome memento of his murder is sent to his wife and children. He is the first victim, and Detective Helen Grace knows he will not be the last. Helen can sense the fury behind the murders.

I love this series!!
Revisado: 09-10-18
This is the second novel in the Helen Grace </I> series and it
follows right in the footsteps of the debut, eeny meeny, with brutal murders, multiple storylines, high wire tension, chilling twists, unforseeable turns, and believable characters doing their best to bring justice to the victims of crime. The unique quality of this series makes it very addictive, especially the audiobook editions.
Narrator Elizabeth Bower's performance it crisp, emotional, and down right magnificent! She takes the authors writing clean off the pages, making the story up close, personal, and, quite frankly, ALIVE!
So bring it, Mr. Alridge! Elizabeth will make your masterful stories live and breathe!

Teriffic and thrilling debut!
Revisado: 07-13-18
Debut novel of Something in the water by Catherine Steadman is fully loaded with danger, nervous foreboding, and the insatiable anticipation of discovering what happens in the end.
The allure of audiobooks for me is that I can close my eyes, removing the visual black on white pages of the book, which allows me to visualize what's happening
far more effectively. For this reason, an excellent narrator is key. Narrated by the author, Catherine's five star performance profoundly increased the effects that my body experienced as the story played out!
