Historia
November 1958, New York. Into the rarefied atmosphere of wealth and tradition at the National Horse Show in Madison Square Garden comes the most unlikely of horses—a drab white former plow horse named Snowman—and his rider, Harry de Leyer. They were the longest of all longshots—and their win was the stuff of legend.

An amazing story beautifully told

An epic tale every bit as great as Seabiscuit. Looking forward to listening to The Perfect Horse.

Historia
Every time a pile of clutter catches your attention or gets in your way (or trips you or embarrasses you or angers you), you think to yourself, "I have to go through this...but not now, because I'm too fill-in-the-blank (tired, busy, etc.)." That intention is as far as the organizing actually gets, and the cycle just begins again. Frustrating, isn't it? What if I told you that busting through the never-ending sequence of procrastination and perpetual heaps of clutter was not only possible, but with the strategies in this audiobook, almost painless?

A great quick review to listen to in the midst of total house reorganization project. For those normally " I'll do it later " or "it's too big of a job" areas , like the basement, she has a baby- stepping method. It's short and sweet to listen or read. I bought both version.

Would you consider the audio edition of Gone to Dust to be better than the print version?
This was my first private detective story and it was a great start to this genre

Historia
Early one morning, less than a month after her 18th birthday, Alexandrina Victoria is roused from bed with the news that her uncle William IV has died, and she is now queen of England. The men who run the country have doubts about whether this sheltered young woman, who stands less than five feet tall, can rule the greatest nation in the world. Surely she must rely on her mother and her venal advisor, Sir John Conroy, or her uncle, the Duke of Cumberland, who are all too eager to relieve her of the burdens of power.

The book was not my cup of tea for the last half or so--but I did listen to the entire reading hoping it would get better.

Historia
When Justin walks out on Alice on their honeymoon, with no explanation apart from a cryptic note, Alice is left alone and bewildered, her life in pieces. Then she meets Evelyn, a visitor to the gallery where she works. It's a seemingly chance encounter, but Alice gradually learns that Evelyn has motives, and a heartbreaking story, of her own. And that story has haunting parallels with Alice's life. As Alice delves into the mystery of why Justin left her, the questions are obvious. But the answers may lie in the most unlikely of places...

Unbelievably Great Book
Revisado: 08-15-15
I was shocked to realized how much of activity was counter-productive in the long run. As a domestic goddess I was task driven not time focused. I sent a gift certificate for this specific book to a friend of mine. She is a relatively new manager who can listen to it on her long drive to work. I can wait to hear what she thinks about it.
