Her urge to find her best friend

I love it in the letters and how she is trying to find her best friend and how it starts off she’s telling about her life and the lab and teaching her her best friend how to talk to her. I love her.

Another great installment

This is another fun adventure through a different circle with our characters. The author continues to develop her characters with conflict and tribulation, and presents relationships, both romantic and platonic, that exemplify respect, forgiveness, understanding and compassion. In a modern climate that can pit the sexes against each other, this book provides an refreshing example of cooperation, community, and gender equality. This novel was particularly fun with its development of its newest protagonist and her mysterious history.

Where does From Here to There rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

This audiobook ranks among the top ten I have heard in recent memory.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Ivy continues to be my favorite character due to her strong and capable personality, but a new character is introduced in this installment that may prove equally (or more) interesting...

Which scene was your favorite?

The flashback to the car-crash is by for the most intriguing scene in this book, in my opinion.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

The Darkness grows...From Here to There

This is my favorite installment of the series so far! Each book has led to this one and pays a return I wasn't expecting. I can't wait for the next one!

Bringing it "Full Circle"

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Another excellent addition to our character's journey through the realms. The author does a fabulous job of creating new and distinct settings in each of the circles that have their own feel, different from those before. I find each new world more fascinating than the last and enjoy the character's journey through them as they build their (and my) understanding of all the moving parts of each place they visit. This book has all the hallmarks of an epic adventure and begins to create the feeling that this saga extends far back into the worlds history (and herstory) and our characters are having a major impact on the worlds future.

What other book might you compare Elsewhere to and why?

This book reminds me of Card's Homecoming Saga as well as the Myst series of my childhood.

Which character – as performed by T. Russell Jones – was your favorite?

Ivy is still my favorite, as a strong, intelligent person, she seems to be the key in every story and leads the rest of our characters in the "right" direction without fail.

Uncle, however, gets more interesting in each novel. His character development is interesting and sometimes seems more pronounced than his younger counterparts.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

There is a moment when a main character has to make a choice between doing the right thing, and potentially saving the rest. He makes the moral choice, knowing his family will back him up.

New Setting & Great Characters Make Great Read!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

This book is great fun to read, and I would recommend to anyone that enjoys Genre Series.

What other book might you compare Somewhere to and why?

It reminds me a bit of Orson Scott Card's Homecoming Saga with a touch of Myst.

What about T. Russell Jones’s performance did you like?

Her voice is easy to listen to, and well paced in her storytelling.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

There is a moment when the characters begin to realize that the treatment of the animals around them is unfair and abusive, serves as a chilling reminder that in our own reality, we could do a lot more to be compassionate and understanding of the so called "lower species" that occupy this world with us.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

This novel is an exciting, genre-bending exploration of young adult relationships and coming of age in a very creative "universe" constructed by T. Russel Jones. The setting is foreign enough to create the feeling of something new and unknown, with enough familiarity to draw the reader and the characters together. I am very much looking forward to beginning the next in the series later today.

Who was your favorite character and why?

So far, Ivy is my favorite character because she presents an experienced, much more than capable female role model for young readers.

What does T. Russell Jones bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

The author's narration is very well paced. She adds an element of character development through her tone of voice and expression of the characters feelings in a way that I would have provided for myself, had I read instead of listened.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Come along...to Neither Here Nor There
