War is hell

As a veteran of the second battle of Falluja this man story touched me in so many ways. The way he described war was the way I saw it, a simple farm boy coming to grips with the ugliness of a war that is hell and reconciling it with the beautiful moments that stand out as precious memories.
He inspired me to write my own memoir
