I normally love the books by this author but I could not finish this one. It was absolutely terrible. The heroine is so selfish and is constantly putting herself and others in danger without any care for what she is doing. There was someone attempting to kidnap her and was ordered to stay inside until they found out who. She kept disobeying to the point that she got other people injured. Her husband ended up in a coma and she still proceeded to disobey despite him almost dying. Her careless attitude got annoying and made reading this book difficult. I don’t recommend this book.

Awful

I should have listened to the reviews that mentioned how awful the MMC was. He was so mean and treated the FMC terribly. Not to mention that he only took her virginity as part of a ruse to take down her families company. And this was not just a couple of chapters. This was almost the whole book. And she just kept letting him treat her like a doormat. I seriously do not understand all the good reviews. I do not recommend this book.

This is the book that made me fall in love with Stephanie Brothers books! So glad it is in audiobook finally! I highly recommend!

Good read!

I absolutely loved this book. This is a reverse age gap romance and the h is 10 years older then the H. The two main characters have a lot baggage and there is a lot of “push and pull” in their relationship. At some points I felt like it gave me whiplash but in the end the HEA made it worth it.

Heroine sounds like teenage girl

The heroine was annoying and was very immature. Her language was that of a teenage girl. I wish I could get my money back. Also this is technically BWWM genre, so if that is not your thing I’d bypass this. I won’t be reading any of this authors future books.

Heroine is intolerable!

The FMC, Jocelyn, is annoying, bratty and intolerable. She has no redeeming qualities. She spends several hours of the book trying to get back to a bridegroom known for physically mutilating women for sick enjoyment. This makes no sense. Her constant whining was really next level. I’m going to be walking away from this book.

FMC is annoying

The FMC is annoying and completely unlikable. She started out ok but the further it got into the book the more unbearable she got. At one point she is taken to the MMC’s home planet because she is dying and the only way to save her is for him to take her to his planet so she can be healed. He does this k owing that he will get into trouble with the rulers of his planet. He then tells her not to leave his quarters for her protection. As soon as he leaves though, she’s like I’ll show you and leaves knowing she will cause trouble. The MMC is nothing but nice to her and she is awful to him at every turn. Once She’s healed she decides that even though this guy has gone out of his way to protect and save her, she wants to cause him trouble just out of spite. I can’t stand women like this. I could not finish this book and I don’t understand how it got such high ratings.
