So many things that were newly revealed… well written, well-presented. And just… WOW! 😳 Heartfelt and a deeply personal and vulnerable account of her life, how she got to the WhiteHouse, and how she got out. Brava!

Superb as expected

This book wraps up open plot elements from books 3, 5, 6, 7, and 20… as such, it should be no surprise that it will take more than a single book to do that. So it makes sense that there will be a cliffhanger, and we’ll see one of the greatest antagonists brought back to life in the next book!

With the passing of Rene Aberjonois, please consider bringing back Scott Brick, who performed a wonderful set of characters in the series.

Banal. Atypical Patterson

Long-time fan, I’ve read every Patterson so far, and there have been only two that have failed me. Sadly, this was one of them. It felt contrived, predictable, and not couldn’t get my attention. I’ll still read his next, but this one didn’t do it for me.

It’s an addictive series! Plot bulls on prior threads, which are woven together into an exquisite web of suspense and kick-a$$ action. Highly recommend!

Avid consumer of audiobooks, and this was a good series! Already purchased book 5. I enjoy the butt-kicking female protagonists, so this was right up my ally. Recommended!

Very well-written. Shocking details with good sources

Riggleman isn’t just anyone writing a book off the top of his head. Rather, he’s an experienced military intelligence officer with NSA data collection experience. He was a (devout) Republican when he became a Congressman. He was a member of the Jan 6 committee, in charge of collecting, correlating, and mapping text messages and social media messages from those that planned, executed, and dealt with the aftermath of Jan 6. He’s surprisingly humble and discusses his own story… and how it positioned him to be in the perfect place to help out with the investigation as a SME.

Superb storyline & characters

Get it. If you’re waffling like I was, just get it. Narration was great, and the characters are rich and well-developed.

For a part-apocalyptic box set, this stands out in its ability to have unique storylines in each book, with a common thread throughout (as opposed to the same rehashed plots and issues from other multi-book series).

The author offers some surprising depth in terms of the human experience, and I actually found myself pausing to jot down an insightful nugget. Looking forward to digging in to more of Kyle West’s other creations!

I read a lot of books, listen to many audiobooks, but this one… this one got to me. It’s a wonderfully crafted psychological thriller. Just read it.
