Bernice McFadden's writing is brilliant and sensual. She makes it easy to imagine the scenarios she creates.

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?
I was so excited that Harlan Coben had a new book that I pre-ordered it. I wish that it had fulfilled my expectations for a suspenseful story with fascinating twists and intriguing characters instead of being a sappy, somewhat predictable romance novel with characters I didn't really care about. What a letdown.
Has Six Years turned you off from other books in this genre?
No.
How could the performance have been better?
Not sure.
What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?
Mainly disappointment in the author, but also frustration because I continued to listen with hopes that the book would get better.
