Historia
One spring night in 1998, the beautiful Cressida Strauss plunges from a fourth-floor balcony at the Lycée Internationale Suisse with catastrophic consequences. Loath to draw negative publicity to the school, a bastion of European wealth and glamour, officials quickly dismiss the incident as an accident, but questions remain. Was it a suicide attempt? Or was Cressida pushed? It was no secret that she had a selfish streak and had earned as many enemies as allies in her tenure at the school.

This author takes me on journeys to places, times, and situations I know nothing about. It’s a true adventure.

Historia
History has lied. Anne Boleyn has been sold to us as a dark figure, a scheming seductress who bewitched Henry VIII into divorcing his queen and his church in an unprecedented display of passion. Quite the tragic love story, right? Wrong. In this electrifying exposé, Hayley Nolan explores for the first time the full, uncensored evidence of Anne Boleyn’s life and relationship with Henry VIII, revealing the shocking suppression of a powerful woman.

Loved this!!!
Revisado: 11-15-21
I have had a strong fascination for Anne Boleyn’s story since I was a child after seeing “Anne of the Thousand Days.” I have read many books and watched many movies. I’m glad that she is finally being given fair treatment. Even if she had done all the things she was accused of, she didn’t deserve the terrible fate she experienced.
I love how this book stated facts and not conjecture. The research was meticulously done. The author has an entertaining and often humorous style of writing and delivery in her speech that made it very enjoyable to listen to. I would love it if she wrote about the rest of Henry’s wives.

Historia
For years, rumors of the "Marsh Girl" have haunted Barkley Cove, a quiet town on the North Carolina coast. So in late 1969, when handsome Chase Andrews is found dead, the locals immediately suspect Kya Clark, the so-called Marsh Girl. But Kya is not what they say. Sensitive and intelligent, she has survived for years alone in the marsh that she calls home, finding friends in the gulls and lessons in the sand.
