Child Abuse, Sucidal Tendencies, and Depression

If these concepts bother you, skip this book. the child abuse ends by the halfway point of the book, but the suicidal tendency and depression last through the whole book.
The writing is poor and very unbelievable. For example, our MC is told he has the highest stats of all humanity, but he almost dies numouruse times shortly after. Why would I believe any of humanity survived?
I read for escapism, and this book is just depressing!

Zach is the worst most hypocritical character I have ever seen. I almost gave up on the series in book 2 when I found him in the book so much. Now his hypocrisy, whining made me quit less than a third of the way. Worthless character destroyed the series wish I quit earlier!

I've loved these books except for the terrible additional stories. While this is the worst of series. Spending stupid hours with there VR and other stuff that seemed to have just been thrown together. BUT the HORRIBLE additional story did it. I quit!

A great story but a bit disappointing

This is a good continuation of the Land. Lots of things happen in the book most of which were fun, important, and interesting. Bunches of things are lined up for the MC's return to his village but I find myself a little disappointed with the actual lack of conclusions we have at the end of the book. We are still stuck underground, we have not dealt with the imp, we have no idea where we are and we still have the cores we desperately want to see used. Good book but it needed more progression.

A great series!

This is the first book to an outstanding series. This story follows Yar Dark as he faces the transformation of the entire world and the loss of human civilization. Can he grow strong with the help of the System and strike down those who have destroyed the world? I can't wait for the rest of the books to come out on audible!

Marginal story destroyed by a TERRIBLE MC

This could have been a marginal quality story but it was destroyed by an MC who was at best an arrogant and stupid troglodyte. An MC who wanders around saying "I can take care of myself" yet keeps doing the dumbest of things. I've been in the world less than a day, have been beaten and saved numerous times, so let's ignore the wise old man and challenge someone I can see and am told is better than me because I'm an arrogant prig. It gets to the point that you long for him to be killed so we can finally get to a good character. The development of the world is poor and not thought out, not a true litrpg, a sad addition to the audible line up. A waste of credits and time. If you are looking for a good read look anywhere else.
