Poignant Love Story
Revisado: 09-03-21
This book is heartbreaking... but beautiful. I loved it! This is very different from books that I normally would pick up and at first I almost didn't continue listening but I'm glad I did. In some ways it reminds me of Zora Neale Hurston "Their Eyes Were Watching God." It explores the topic of love and loss.

awesome sci-fi story with deep meaning

loved it! exploration into the what-if question about life and the choices we make. kind of like the butterfly effect where each choice you make can affect different aspects of your life either in a positive way or negative way. I think this book is about being happy with the choices you make in life because you never know if the grass is really greener on the other side or if maybe you just need to water the grass you're already in.

Historia
Jenifer Lewis keeps it real in this provocative and touching memoir by a Midwestern girl with a dream whose journey from poverty to Hollywood will move, shock, and inspire listeners. Told in the audacious voice her fans adore, Jenifer describes a road to fame made treacherous by dysfunction and undiagnosed mental illness, including a sex addiction. Yet, supported by loving friends and strengthened by "inner soldiers", Jenifer never stopped entertaining and creating.

Open, honest, funny, touching and emotional

I loved this book. it kept my interest the whole time, and you could feel what she was saying. There are times of seriousness in the book, of course lots of humor, drama, and for me, moments/opportunities for personal reflection.
