A Bit Quiet

Such fancy names for such simple sounds. This track is basically just some soft waves with some wind thrown in here and there. It's soothing, but to actually hear the waves you may have to turn your volume all the way up.

The actual story doesn't start for a few minutes. Instead, there's a little plug in from the author for a more in depth book about sleep.

Overall, okay. I thought it was a little amusing and not necessarily soothing enough to make me want to fall asleep.

Weird, Snarky, Satirical, Incomprehensible

I think the above title sums it all up. If you enjoy crack comedy, you'd probably like this. I spent the majority of this book just thinking, "...what?" rather than really enjoying it. They satirize all sorts of things ranging from BDSM from 50 Shades to the cookie monster. I do think you should have a gopd grasp on pop culture references or even current events to fully understand or appreciate some of the jokes in here. I'd listen to this once, but probably not twice.

Great for Young Listeners

This plot is definitely geared more towards elementary school kids up to middle school kids or early teens. It's a little predictable, and some questionable time continuum bits. However, the snippets of music were great. The music made the listen very engaging. I do wish the kids traveled back in time more so that you could be exposed to more types of music. I also wish that there was a bit more history too it because I felt there was barely any in there. Overall, a fun, easy listen.

It's Okay

The plot is a bit predictable, but still enjoyable to listen to. I liked the relationship between the mother and the daughter. The phone chimes were kinda annoying, but the more you listen, the more you get used to it. There's a little profanity (I.e. "f" word), but it fits with the plot and isn't jarring.
