Historia
Meet Jessica Jones: retired superhero, private investigator, loner. She tried her best to be a shiny spandex crimefighter, but that life only led to unspeakable trauma. Now she avoids that world altogether and works on surviving day-to-day in Hell’s Kitchen, New York. The morning a distraught mother comes into her office, Jessica would prefer to nurse her hangover and try to forget last night’s poor choices. But something about Amber Randall’s story strikes a chord with her. Amber is adamant that something happened to her teenage twins while they were visiting their father in the UK.

Lisa Jewell KILLS this new genre of fiction - and brings Jessica Jones to life like no TV show has been able to do !

Jessica Jones is now real to me and I need this series to promise me ENDLESS sequels. The narrator was PERFECTION, the story CAPTIVATING, and the adventure powerful:

Perfection in Every Single Word
Revisado: 05-16-24
Narration is always exquisite for this series and I am on the edge of my seat waiting to hear when Book 8 will drop. NOT cool at all of “Robert Galbraith” aka JK dropping THE cliff hangers to end all cliffhangers. The writing and intricate story line - and all its brilliant research- shaped Strike and Robin’s characters and pushed them into story arcs only Rowling can deliver. Because of the writing, I was in this cult. I was contemplating who and what regarding the Polaroids. I sat in that temple. I felt the gunshots that hit our car. I was in the sitting room with Prudence and Will. Thank you Galbraith/ Rowling for being a writer who is not afraid to find the stories that haven’t been created or written. I read once that you said you had endless ideas for Strike novels. I’ll gladly live to 126 if it means I get to read all of them.

Liar Liar Did NOT Light My Pants on Fire
Revisado: 11-22-23
I always love listening to Brittany Presley narrate but this was a long-dragged out tale that tried to many cliches. I listened to the end and while slightly intrigued while listening, not going to jump on recommending it. One thing that bugged me was the tendency of Jackson to repeat entire phrases from character to character ….

Couldn’t not stop listening ...
Revisado: 02-13-21
I love finding a psychological thriller with a story that catches me unaware at every turn- and Little Secrets was that book. That listen. That story. This one goes in directions that no amount of guessing or predicting could reveal. And I got in my miles and cleaning because I just wanted to listen, “a little longer.”
