Lauren Blakely has created a winter wonderland of delicious games and sexy schemes! I’ve said it before, but I feel like her books should be turned into a Netflix series and it would be a the top 10 list every week!
Jason Clark is deliciously dominant as Wilder and Samantha Brentmore is sassy and sexy as Fable! The ensemble cast really brings this book to life. If you’re looking for a gift to give the romance reader in your life, look no further than this book!!

Sassy and Sexy + Focused and Flirty + Forever!!!!

The longing... Dear God the longing this book makes you feel is incredible! Reading and listening to this story will make you understand what it feels like to be edged in the best possible way!
Leighton and MIles drove me crazy, in the absolute best way possible.

Jason Clarke is next level with the seduction his voice brings to the character of MIles. Is there anything more worthy or adorable than a man who wants to just curl up with you on the couch and ask you how your day was and that’s all he looks forward to or wants from you… I think not… This book delivers such a man.

Samantha Brentmor rises to the challenge {and meets it} that Clarke throws down.(hello chapter 32). They are the perfect pairing to display the long ,drawn out seduction of these two star crossed and forbidden lovers.

As a dedicated reader and avid Listener of Lauren's novels, "The Girlfriend Zone" gives a fresh take on the forbidden romance trope. With each challenge that the characters face, Blakely weaves a new path for them to surmount the obstacle they face. This story gives you an update on previous players {no pun intended} in the main character's orbit and crafts a timeline of their story around the friend group.

Blakely crafts a sentence makes you feel like you’re immersed in the room or simply walking down the street with the characters… It’s so effortless it makes you feel like not only do you know exactly what the characters are immersed in but it’s such an easy read when the words or anything.

Lauren writes novels like a mini series \ sitcom and when the day comes that Netflix comes calling, I want to direct the series!!!

Duet Touchdown!!

Cooper and Violet’s story is the reason we all love a Blakely sports romance story!! The first foray into the lane and it’s a touchdown !! I love the refresh the story took on. Andi Arnt never disappoints and she captures Violet’s vulnerability and sass perfectly! Jason Clark can do no wrong in my book and continues to throw the perfect spiral in this role as well. Sexy… Confident… Alluring… He captures Cooper in every word he others!!

Friends to lovers through a necessary rouse is always always a fun trope that I gravitate to and the story does not disappoint! Lauren Blakely is a Mastercraft woman in this arena and she won the Super Bowl with this new twist on an old favorite!!

The Proposal Play is like a long, slow tease that you don't want to ever end....

The delicious tale of Maeve and Asher will keep you on your toes. There is something to be said for best friends who know each other's highs and lows and show up for each other. You route for them individually and even more so as they navigate as a "couple".

This story is poised as the classic friends to lovers trope but with a fresh twist. In the Proposal play, you don't feel like you are being told the same old story. Blakely breathes energy into their friendship turned marriage of convenience and edges the readers with their spicy honeymoon phase!

Vanessa Edwin encapsulates the creative free spirit that is Maeve. She brings our heroine's artsy side to life with the optimism and anguish that you can hear in every word Edwin utters.
Robert Hatchet is a new narrator for me and he does not disappoint as our Hero. He brings Asher's helpful yet dominant side to life and makes you want to obey his every command.

The bonus to the audio book is this is told in the Duet style that I feel makes the story come to life! Do yourself a favor and order the audio book ... you won't be disappointed!

The Proposal Play is like the sweetest torture you could dream up and the pay off is a kin to all the presents under the Christmas Tree this holiday season!

Sometimes there are books that you don’t want to write the review for because you don’t want to admit that you have finished them… This is one of those books…

The second installment of the “Love and hockey” series lives up to the hype of the first one. I’m a huge fan of how Blakely crafts a world of characters and builds a community where each book takes us into the lives of a different pairing. Everly, a PR maven with the skills to rehab even the most difficult Hockey Star is narrated by Vanessa Edwin, who captures Everly’s spirit to a tee. She portrays her strength and vulnerability in a way that makes you want to protect her and keep her safe while at the same time standing back and let her take charge!

Max is the aforementioned hockey star that needs an image makeover and is played by Teddy Hamilton. Hamilton‘s narration of Max is the perfect balance of skepticism and optimism. He has been hurt before and doesn’t trust easily yet finds himself opening up in ways he didn’t think he could ever do again. And let me just say… he’s a cat guy…. Enough said!!

The vulnerability that both characters display in this book is extremely captivating… Each has their own scars, whether visible or invisible ..marks of the struggles they have been through in their lives. How they open up to each other is completely beautiful and makes you not want to stop reading or,in my case, listening to every last word!!!

The Romance Line sees the spice and raises it to the next heat level! This book is the perfect companion to keep you warm on a cold night!

Imagine moving to a new city, getting locked out of your temporary apartment, only wearing a T-shirt and slippers, and meeting the most adorable candidate for a one night stand all within an afternoon?!! This delightful scene is brought to you by the newest MF romance by Lauren Blakely!

Just when you think the classic “ don’t date a teammate sister” trope has been used too many times… Blakely turns the storyline on its head and makes you love and even more than the first time you heard it.

I listened to this title and I have to say Erin Mallon brings Josie to life. She captures her zest for learning new things but also her spontaneous side! Connor Crais is a relatively new narrator for me but he knocks the character of Wesley out of the park! I was hooked from the get-go! He was able to portray his extremely helpful nature, but also made my glasses fog over with the way he narrates the sexy scenes and believe me… They are spicy!!

This book is on the longer side, but it did not feel like it at all… It was just enough to convey the depth of each character. One of my favorite things about Lauren Blakely‘s writing is that she always gives you a few Easter eggs of past characters in her books and a little hint to how the next few characters stories will develop.. She definitely keeps you wanting more! I love how Blakely crafts each character’s story and shows their growth over the course of the novel. Just when you think you know how the book is going to end… she gives you just that extra bit and makes you fall in love with these characters all the more!

This is a must read and possibly my favorite pair of Blakely’s and that is saying a lot!!!
Plug in your earbuds or crack that spine ASAP to devour this story! You will not be disappointed!

This book hooked me from the jump! The narrators both embodied what I imagined these characters to be from reading the paperback first!

Branden brought Victoria’s personality to life. She captured her sass as well as her vulnerability to a tee.

Elliot was able to convey Xavier’s dominance and gentle side and they both showed how the author grew the characters over the span of the book.

I can’t wait to read the second book in this series to see how Montagano takes these two into the next stages of their journey.

If you are looking for a spicy romance that rivals the summer heat , look no further than The Keeper!

I didn’t want it to end!!!

Kristan Higgins writes books like I imagine Van Gogh or Monet painted! Once I started this book, I could not stop! Even though I had to press pause a couple times because I just couldn’t take the amount of emotions I was feeling, I immediately had to pick it back up because I needed to know how the chapter ended! Lark is a character you root for…(and honestly, the doctor that I would want at my bedside because you know that she cares!) Dr Santini (Dr.Satan, aptly named,) makes you want to scream one minute but then also you see how his character develops over the course of the months he knows Lark. Also…Dante…(#swoon)

Xe Sands narrates like she is speaking through Kristan! She just gets her style of writing . She can convey the emotion of the scene, but also make you laugh. In the next sentence. She encapsulates the characters full range of emotions. The other two narrators are new to me, but do a fantastic job, capturing the boisterous nature of Joy and the conflicted storyline of Ellie!

I like that there were so many layers to this book. Characters you want to be friends with. I mean, seriously, who wouldn’t want to be a member of the Smith family?! I could easily imagine this book being turned into either a TV series or a Netflix movie.. that’s how colorful these people are!

You will laugh, you will cry, and then you will laugh again! Pack this book for the beach or a rainy day.. you won’t be disappointed!

This book is thrilling on so many levels! You have not one, not two, but three , count ‘em three, heroes all of varying degrees of emotional (relationship) levels.
Enter our heroine who brings her own baggage and you have the makings of red hot, eye opening week!

When our three heroes help rescue our heroine’s cat from the worst ex-boyfriend there could ever be, you immediately get a sense who these characters are. They are helpful, with each man playing a different role in their dynamic. They are playful. They work together as a team. Sure they all dealing with their own personal issues, but they are able to put them aside to help each other out. 

The chemistry in this book is as fluid as a puck sliding across the smoothest ice! Just when you think Lauren Blakely couldn’t craft  a more sexy storyline … give these characters a hot tub, a cabin and one week to change the rules of the game.  She shoots, she scores! And you are well and truly pucked! 

The premise of this story is three hockey teammates sharing a house for a week with their yoga teacher… one week where they show a wounded Briar how real men treat a woman in and out of the bedroom.
in the hopes she can claim the ultimate revenge and win prize money from her douche nugget of an ex’s web pages’ contest! 

Full cast narration for the win! 

Samantha Brentmoor breathes  life into Briar! She captures her vulnerability at the same time she shows her empowering nature. 

Teddy Hamilton as Hollis is the right about of  quirky and flirty mixed with domineeringly sexy!

Jason Clarke could read me the phone book and now he can do it in a British accent. What else could you possibly need? Rhys is sultry and sweet with a touch of anxiety for the future holds for him. Every emotion shines through Jason‘s narration.

Connor Crais is a new narrator for me, only hearing him once before and Lauren’s  first  hockey romance trio. He illuminates Gavin’s tortured past and protective nature without skipping a beat.  

These four narrators create a new dimension of sexy and sweet, spicy, and hopefully romantic! I listened to this entire book in probably under 48 hours because I wanted to know what happened to the next chapter.
