Historia
The transition from President Donald J. Trump to President Joseph R. Biden Jr. stands as one of the most dangerous periods in American history. But as number one internationally best-selling author Bob Woodward and acclaimed reporter Robert Costa reveal for the first time, it was far more than just a domestic political crisis. Woodward and Costa interviewed more than 200 people at the center of the turmoil, resulting in more than 6,000 pages of transcripts - and a spellbinding and definitive portrait of a nation on the brink.

IMHO… Garbage
Revisado: 05-12-22
This book did nothing but paint Trump as a piece of junk and Biden as the savior to the United States. The only thing that Trump did was ruin everything and the only person that could fix everything was / is Biden, the Democrats are kings and do nothing wrong while the Republicans can’t do a dang thing right that is what this book is essentially about. I thought it would be more of a bipartisan book and I read both right and left leaning but this was just too far to the left left for me to read and I would not recommend.

Historia
The Democratic Party has changed beyond recognition. Once the party of anti-communism and tax-cutting under President Kennedy, it is now dominated by a surging socialist movement and led by a presidential candidate who vows to “transform” America. In Countdown to Socialism, Congressman Devin Nunes exposes the nexus between the Democratic Party, the mainstream media, and the social media corporations. These three entities cooperate to blast out the Democrats’ message and downplay their extremism while suppressing and censoring conservative points of view.

Short but sweet
Revisado: 04-15-22
It was short, as intended, and sweet. Insightful but makes you angry how some can get away with what they do even with the amount of evidence against them it’s always someone else taking the fall and the actual people getting off Scott-free.

Historia
If the world as we know it ended tomorrow, would you survive? When the United States suffers a major socioeconomic collapse, a power vacuum sweeps the globe. A newly radicalized Islamic government rises to power in Indonesia, invading the Philippines, East Timor, Papua New Guinea, and finally Northern Australia. No longer protected by American military interests, Australia must repel this invasion alone.

Decent but eh. The reader was the best part.
Revisado: 04-13-22
I’ve read almost every one of his books regarding this topic. Outside of the first book they have just essentially started to taper off to do nothing. It seems very repetitive. And I don’t need to hear about everybody else in the world and how it would affect them I thought it would be better if the story was a long gated and focused on life North America and maybe Europe.

Historia
America is in the thrall of a full-scale socioeconomic breakdown. The stock market plummets, hyperinflation destroys the value of the dollar, and the population, unprepared for hardship, panics. Practically overnight, the high technology infrastructure and chains of supply collapse and wholesale rioting and looting grip every city. Law enforcement, transportation, electricity, fuel, and medical supplies are all in the past now, as the country staggers beneath its own weight.

Not bad but like Patriots better
Revisado: 03-04-22
I didn’t think the book was bad. It spent a whole lot of time on the main characters troubles in the journey from Southwest Asia to New Mexico, which I think could have been shorter. I also think that it needed more action, like what was in “Patriots”.

Historia
Already cited on the floor of Congress and discussed in the corridors of the Pentagon as a book all Americans should read, One Second After is the story of a war scenario that could become all too terrifyingly real. Based upon a real weapon - the Electro Magnetic Pulse (EMP) - which may already be in the hands of our enemies, it is a truly realistic look at the awesome power of a weapon that can destroy the entire United States.

Good book that can happen

What goes on I. The book, no doubt can happen. One thing I do wish is that the reader was a little bit more girl dish when reading the girl parts.

Historia
In the not-too-distant future, the United States loses its status as a world Superpower. With the military cut to a barebones level and American leaders focused solely on the nation's internal struggles, the door will open for new powers to emerge on the world stage. In the wake of this power vacuum, China and Russia begin to flex their military muscles and expand their dominance in the world. They have the most up-to-date technological innovations ready for battle: railguns, unmanned drone tank vehicles, exoskeleton suits, and cyber warfare.

So I know this is only book one but I didn’t find any real development of any single character. I recognized names but that was about it. I think there are other books that cove this but with an actual development of characters.

Historia
At 6:00 a.m. on the morning of October 3, 2009, Combat Outpost Keating was viciously attacked by Taliban insurgents. The 53 U.S. troops, having been stationed at the bottom of three steep mountains, were severely outmanned by nearly 400 Taliban fighters. Though the Americans ultimately prevailed, their casualties made it one of the war's deadliest battles for U.S. forces. And after more than three years in that dangerous and vulnerable valley a mere 14 miles from the Pakistan border, the U.S. abandoned and bombed the camp.

Book differs from Movie
Revisado: 06-21-21
The movie and book differ greatly, which is understandable. I did like both but the movie seemed better. Not a fan of the author but I won’t hold his other work against him in the ability to tell this story for fellow soldiers struggles for one another in the harshest environments. IGY6

Historia
On a daring nighttime raid in September 2009, a team of Navy SEALs grabbed the notorious terrorist Ahmed Hashim Abed, the villainous "Butcher of Fallujah," the mastermind behind the 2004 murder and mutilation off our American contractors. In this no-holds-barred account, bestselling author Patrick Robinson reveals for the first time the entire story, from the night the SEALs stormed the al-Qaeda desert stronghold to the accusations and legaltwists and turns that followed to the cut-and-thrust drama in the court room where the fate of three American heroes hung in the balance.

Love it
Revisado: 04-07-21
I loved the book more than the movie. Almost got into a fight with some AirForce guys at their academy when I watched it because I told them what actually happened. They thought that I was laughing that the soldiers go killed, far from it. I have absolutely nothing but the upmost respect for ALL service members, as I was one! Book tells the true story and the movie doesn’t do it justice AT all but it is understandable why the movie cut out so much.
