Cookie cutters storyline that lacked any depth. narration was a little aggressive. Not bad but needed to be turn down a notch.

Reminded me of The Family Stone. A Lot
Revisado: 11-30-19
Really enjoyed it. In no small part because I could relate to the main character. Narrator was good enough for me to not get pulled out of the story.

Great story for climbers, not so much general.
Revisado: 11-30-19
I could tell I would love to story if I was a climber but I'm not. The narration was great and I enjoyed the father-daughter Bond but this very much seemed to be mostly about the climbing with lingo so I got somewhat bored purely based on not being one myself.
seems very much like a niche ebook.

O Magic oxygen when suffocating between trips
Revisado: 11-24-19
I'm a writer traveling the world and have been desperately looking for just this thing.
The author's stories, style (travel, personality and writing) filled the inspiration in my heart back up after a summer of being a full-time patient for a mystery autoimmune disorder that has been trying to kill me. Some think maybe due to the summer before in India.
There were times the story fell a wee bit short for me (ex: jumping age from youth to middle-age without a bridge, going right into a story of a new lover without a bridge about leaving her husband, the stories in the end seeming to go fast-forward comparatively) and even more moments the narrator took me out of the story (incorrect accents, talking out a song instead of singing it, incorrect pronunciation and/or inflection) but these were few and far between. The narrator was a great fit to be believable and bring to life for the character of this author over all.
I'll look for more just like this and will make note of the narrator as a plus for making future decisions. ✈️🌍🎤📖
