Sweet, heartbreaking forever love

I can't put into words all the emotions this book made me feel. Happy and sad, frustrated and annoyed (when the characters didn't do what I thought they should be doing) it hit me in every feels button. There are some triggering moments in the book for anyone that's been through domestic violence or experienced trauma but that just made the characters that much more relatable for me. I loved the balance of sweet and sexy, of angst and lightheartedness. Oliver knocked this one out of the park and getting to hear it made the experience all the better than just seeing the words on paper.

Characters Come to Life

I have to admit, I had read this in book format once already and loved it. So, when I heard it was in audiobook, I jumped at the chance to listen to it as well. I love the way audiobooks have a way of breathing life into the characters. Olivers story was amazing in both formats. The narrator did a good job of changing up her tones for characters and only a little bit of background noise distracted me once or twice. Overall I highly recommend a listen if you love MC Romance with lots of heat and a sweet hero willing to give his all for his best friend, who also happens to be the girl of his dreams.
