Historia
There Are Rivers in the Sky is a rich, sweeping novel set between the 19th century and modern times, about love and loss, memory and erasure, hurt and healing, centred around three enchanting characters living on the banks of the River Thames and the River Tigris – their lives all curiously touched by the epic of Gilgamesh.

Poetical narration of complex subjects
Revisado: 08-27-24
The book beautifully weaves the tales of nature and ecology, a recent genocide, the complexity of family, feelings of belonging, divide, hope and desperation, the topic about art in museums that were created by different cultures, rather than the museums they are in. All wrapped in a poetical narration that both soothed, saddened and put smiles in my spirit.

Historia
A brilliant and utterly original thinker, Andrew Solomon's journey began from his experience of being the gay child of straight parents. He wondered how other families accommodate children who have a variety of differences: families of people who are deaf, who are dwarfs, who have Down syndrome, who have autism, who have schizophrenia, who have multiple severe disabilities, who are prodigies, who commit crimes, who are transgender.

Very insightful
Revisado: 02-05-23
It's was nice and clarifying. it doesn't give any "this is what you should do" advise, but during the book the reader gets a good idea of what he or she finds right, in case something like this happens

Historia
In this award-winning Audible Studios production, Trevor Noah tells his wild coming-of-age tale during the twilight of apartheid in South Africa. It’s a story that begins with his mother throwing him from a moving van to save him from a potentially fatal dispute with gangsters, then follows the budding comedian’s path to self-discovery through episodes both poignant and comical.

really nice book
Revisado: 07-15-20
the only reason I can't give this book 5 stars, is because of the lose ends. so many good stories that... just stops. I'm missing closure.
like "then she kissed him and got our of the car." New chapter starts and we never know if they ever kissed again or not.
