Historia
Gary and Clare Kirk are set to celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary...except they’re not. Childless, and with so little in common, the couple finally accept there’s no good reason to remain married. However, Gary’s idea of an amicable divorce settlement differs significantly from Clare’s, and tensions between the couple soon mount. Money, as is often the case, is at the root of their disagreement. As Gary explores every avenue to evade his wife’s financial demands, he inadvertently finds himself sitting opposite a relationship resolution advisor by the name of Edith Stimp.

Love it!
Revisado: 02-07-24
A fascinating story that moved easily along and kept my interest the entire time. I loved all the characters in both “time periods”. The narration was excellent! I recommend this book to anyone that might be interested in time travel or searching for a love story.

I liked it!
Revisado: 01-19-23
I’m a long time fan of Karin Slaughter having read many of her books. This story was good, my only problem was the constant back and forth in the timeline but it all made sense I some times find it hard to follow. Loved all the characters and hope to see Catfish in upcoming books as it seems this will be a new series. Kathleen Early does an excellent narration!

Historia
Every day without fail, Travis Devine puts on a cheap suit, grabs his faux-leather briefcase, and boards the 6:20 commuter train to Manhattan, where he works as an entry-level analyst at the city’s most prestigious investment firm. In the mornings, he gazes out the train window at the lavish homes of the uberwealthy, dreaming about joining their ranks. In the evenings, he listens to the fiscal news on his phone, already preparing for the next grueling day in the cutthroat realm of finance. Then one morning Devine’s tedious routine is shattered by an anonymous email: She is dead.

Ok
Revisado: 08-23-22
Wasn’t the best book by David Baldacci that I’ve read but it was ok. A lot of plot twists that seem to drag on and on in parts. It held my interest and I finished it. I have a feeling it might be the first of a series. Zachary Webber has an easy voice to listen to and did a good job.

All through the town of Pine Deep, people are having their most precious memories stolen. The monster seems to target the lonely, the disenfranchised, the people who need memories to anchor them to this world. Something is out there. Something cruel and evil is feeding on the memories, erasing them from the hearts and minds of people like Patty and Monk and others.

Great listen
Revisado: 08-08-22
I’ve had this book for months I basically forgot what it was about and just picked it out of my library a few days ago to listen to. I just finished and I loved it, I think one of the top 5 books I’ve listen to in a few years. Yes there was some graphic language but it was fitting for the story. I loved and cared about the main characters, I had tears at times. This book really moved me. It’s a great read with a little Dean Koontz/Stephen King esk about it. I’d definitely recommend to anyone other than a very young adult. I’d tell you what it’s about but you can get that info from the book’s description. The narrator does an excellent job!

Not for me
Revisado: 05-13-22
I’ve got 5 hours left and I’m calling it quits! If there’s actually a story in this I haven’t gotten to it yet. There are some steamy scenes but really, stripping down and doing it in the office a couple times or the swimming pool. The narrator’s did a decent job.

Her drive for perfection leaves her scrambling to juggle an insane ER schedule, studying for boards, and her boyfriend—whoops! Ex-boyfriend. Hope buries her pain in work. They head to Colorado, aiming for a fresh start. Yet when a scorching hot veteran shows up to lay claim to her dog, he disrupts her careful plan.

It could have been better
Revisado: 05-13-22
I enjoyed the story but due to the narrator’s voice I almost thought it was creepy. The narrator didn’t sound old enough to have graduated from college much less medical school. Then the constant calling her pretty girl added to the creepy feeling. I would have given a higher rating had i read the book instead of listening to it. I also had to speed it up as the pace was too slow. Of course this is just my opinion I’m sure some people will love it. I doubt I read any of the other books in the series.

This one was slow to start but really picked up and there was a good twist at the end. Bronson Pinchot once again did an excellent narration. I’m moving on to the next one in the Mind Hunters series
If you aren’t a fan of explicit sex screens you may want to skip the entire series

It was ok
Revisado: 10-28-21
Performance was excellent in my opinion. Bronson Pinchot is becoming one of my favorite narrators. The story not so much, certainly not as good as the previous books. I thought the story dragged in parts and there were some abrupt chapter endings which if you’re reading a book wouldn’t have been a problem. I’ll still continue with the series.

Interesting
Revisado: 10-09-21
It’s the second in a series of books but can be read as standalone in my opinion. As another reviewer mention the narrator’s accent at times was a bit over done although I think he does excellent voices for the characters very easy to listen to. Book may not be for everyone there are explicit sex scenes, if that bothers you I’d pass on this book.
Just wanted to mention again this is second audio book I’ve listened with Bronson Pinchot as narrator, he’s great!

Disappointing
Revisado: 08-02-21
It was very hard to get into the story due to the narrator’s voice and what I assume was his attempt at a southern accent. I really need to listen to the sample before buying an audiobook. The story dragged at the beginning but I stuck with it and about the last fourth of the story was good. It had a surprise ending which I liked.
