This story is somewhat like all the books in this series. when Widow got captured, it was usually a different way he gets out of it and becomes the hero.

At first I thought it would just be a typical branch of the "Prey" series. Boy was I wrong! It typically started off slow but when it started taking off, it peaked my interest fully. I am on the last chapter and I cannot wait for the next book if it becomes a series.

What Kind of Writer is Darynda Jones? X-Rated?

Would you listen to The Curse of Tenth Grave again? Why?
Yes, but it would have to be corrected. I like the unabridged books but Darynda Jones I feel went too far in the sex scenes. I just finished all 11 books from her and this one was way too graphic of a novel and should have been placed in the X-Rated section. In the sex scenes she described the most intimate detail. No, I am not a prude or anything like that, but even as a retired Navy man, I feel she should have continued describing the sex scenes like all the rest of her novels in this series. Why dirty it up more than necessary?
Would you recommend The Curse of Tenth Grave to your friends? Why or why not?
Yes, I would recommend The Curse of Tenth Grave to my friends, suggesting to them to get the abridged version. Just too much like an X-Rated novel.
Which scene was your favorite?
The whole series! There were not just one of my favorite scenes.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
After getting into the sex scenes, I would fast forward The Curse of Tenth Grave until the scene is over.
