Great information about how food interacts with your body. The information in this book feels much more trustworthy and makes a lot more sense than a lot of the new age diets. It is also simple to follow and implement. On day 1 of reading, I was already encouraged to make changes to my diet.

I took away some great nuggets from this book but I was not very impressed with the delivery. There were too many testimonials to Gary's previous book which I felt was a waste of time. Gary also suggests that you should work tediously for years with no real return and wait for your break. While I am admittedly not an expert, I have to think there are faster ways that are more likely to result in success.

The valuable bits were the actionable pieces of advice such as logging everything you do and the breakdowns of each social media platform. That said, a lot of that information is available for free on YouTube and you can find it faster and easier.

practical but requires repetition

The 4 star rating is mostly because I was hoping for more of an explanation about why NLP works and more information that would help me become a casual practitioner.

That said, I enjoyed the content and found it useful and practical. If you have certain extreme conditions such as a phobia, the book may help you overcome it in a single session but otherwise the the techniques will take practice to build habits, just like anything else.

Incredibly motivating

If you are looking for some motivation, this audiobook is a must. It is the middle of February and the grey skies were starting to zap my motivation. While listening to this book, I could feel my inner warrior waking up and my energy coming back. My trainer even gave me a high-5 after my workout this morning for the first time and I have no desire to watch TV. The book really puts things in perspective and even the tedious things I have to do for work don't really bother me now.

mostly about facilitation

Total
4 out of 5 stars

This book is mostly about facilitation. The author talks some about the polocracy constitution but that seems to basically define how meetings will be facilitated. that said, there are a number of interesting points about alternative methods to facilitate and how to keep things running smoothly. there are specific facilitation methods for how to change your organization but the book seems to focus mostly on how to run the meeting.

It is worth reading but I was hoping for something a little more comprehensive.

I don't give out high ratings easily but I found this book to be excellent. It had a good combination of concepts, practices and examples and really gets the brain working. The flow of the book was also done well. There are a couple concepts that the author maybe doesn't have a full grasp of but they would be hard to pick up on unless you are a subject matter expert in those specific areas and his explanation was close enough that the points were still made well. The only other criticism I could offer is that there are a couple of points in the reading that have unnatural pauses.

Listened to several chapters of this book before returning it. The author repeatedly states that OKRs, which are basically goals and objectives, are what makes a difference in an organization ansld has several stories that show that companies like Google use them to drive success. The problem is that he doesn't add information on how to create good ones. maybe that comes later in the book but I couldn't justify wasting more time to find out.
