Actually, quite realistic
Revisado: 07-06-15
The portrayal of Avogadro felt very similar to Google, at least when I was working there. Do not expect the traditional child learning about humans kind of artificial intelligence that we normally see in sci-fi, which the more I think about it, the more realistic it feels.

Another great journey in this twisted universe.
Revisado: 07-02-15
I found the ending a little anticlimactic but the journey was great. I suppose I need to keep on reading this series.

Historia
Six days ago, astronaut Mark Watney became one of the first people to walk on Mars. Now, he's sure he'll be the first person to die there. After a dust storm nearly kills him and forces his crew to evacuate while thinking him dead, Mark finds himself stranded and completely alone with no way to even signal Earth that he's alive - and even if he could get word out, his supplies would be gone long before a rescue could arrive. Chances are, though, he won't have time to starve to death. The damaged machinery, unforgiving environment, or plainold "human error" are much more likely to kill him first.

Wow

Anybody with the smallest interest in engineering, science or space exploration should read this book. It was an amazing ride, I couldn't put it down.

Historia
The Scavenger species are circling. It is, truly, the End Days for the Gzilt civilization. An ancient people, organized on military principles and yet almost perversely peaceful, the Gzilt helped set up the Culture 10,000 years earlier and were very nearly one of its founding societies, deciding not to join only at the last moment. Now they've made the collective decision to follow the well-trodden path of millions of other civilizations: They are going to Sublime, elevating themselves to a new and almost infinitely more rich and complex existence.

Good bye culture
Revisado: 03-15-15
Another amazing installment in the culture series. I didn't like them all, but I liked this one. I really couldn't put it down towards the end.
