Historia
Laura was in her early twenties and directionless when she quit her job to backpack in Bolivia. Fate landed her at a wildlife sanctuary on the edge of the Amazon jungle where she was assigned to a beautiful and complex puma named Wayra. Wide-eyed, inexperienced, and comically terrified, Laura made the scrappy, make-do camp her home. And in Wayra, she made a friend for life.

Beautiful
Revisado: 07-25-23
This took me right to the Bolivian jungle. The writing is beautiful and the the experiences are memorable. I commend anyone that can put up with the harsh conditions to care for these abused, abandoned, and traumatized animals.

Historia
The streets of New York are hungry tonight...Carlos Delacruz straddles the line between the living and the not-so alive. As an agent for the Council of the Dead, he eliminates New York's ghostlier problems. This time it's a string of gruesome paranormal accidents in Brooklyn's Von King Park that has already taken the lives of several locals - and is bound to take more. The incidents in the park have put Kia on edge. When she first met Carlos, he was the weird guy who came to Baba Eddie's botánica, where she worked.

Hard to distinguish main characters
Revisado: 10-11-18
The story was great and so many of the characters have a very distinct voice but Kia and Carlos sounded the same. I kept getting lost because I couldn’t tell who was talking. Fun story though.

Historia
Zachary Quinto - best known for his role as the Nimoy-approved Spock in the recent Star Trek reboot and the menacing, power-stealing serial killer, Sylar, in Heroes - brings his well-earned sci-fi credentials and simmering intensity to this audio-exclusive novella from master storyteller John Scalzi. One day, not long from now, it becomes almost impossible to murder anyone - 999 times out of a thousand, anyone who is intentionally killed comes back. How? We don't know.

A futuristic noir story with fun twists!
Revisado: 03-09-18
It was a bit short so a lot was crammed into a tiny box and a slightly untied bow wrapped it altogether.....but Zachary Quinto’s reading helps you overlook those small flaws and is a fun 2 hours of entertainment! Here’s hoping for a sequel!

4.5 star story/ 5 star performance

I was in awe of the bonds that were formed and nurtured at first out of obligation but ultimately turned to unconditional love. So much heart break but very worth the listen.
