Joseph D. Slater is truly an artist with his words. He has an amazing ability to paint you a picture so vivid, it's like you are there watching the story play out in front of you. With most writers, I find myself re-reading a paragraph because I feel like I've missed something about the story only to realise the author is the one who missed something, not me. But not Joseph D. Slater! His writing doesn't miss a thing and really pulls you into his universe while he spins you a yarn so enticing you won't stop until the story has been told. Honest to goodness, truly an amazing work of art. the only way it could have been better is if Joseph D. Slater told me the story himself. maybe one day :)
