Historia
Family is not always defined by blood. It's defined by those who make us whole - those who make us who we are. And here, at the end, Bear and Otter will be tested like they've never been before. There's a knock at the door from a little girl who has nowhere else to go. There's a phone ringing, bringing news they do not expect. There's a brother returning home after learning how to stand on his own. As these moments converge, all of their lives will change forever.

Historia
Detective Remington frickin' hates the missing persons detail, but a cold fury builds in the pit of his stomach when he realizes that over the past three months, six boys have disappeared from the smaller communities that surround the greater Phoenix area. All were reported to be runaways looking to escape their shitty lives, but Remy's starting to put together a different picture, and he doesn't like it one damn bit.

Not breaking any new ground but very entertaining
Revisado: 03-14-14
If you could sum up Last Summer in three words, what would they be?
Heart-warming
Funny
Relatable
What other book might you compare Last Summer to and why?
Last Summer reminds me of Armistead Maupin's Tales of the City as it follows different characters in a span of one summer.
Which character – as performed by Blake Somerset – was your favorite?
I loved all his characterizations but Emerline was particularly touching to me.
Who was the most memorable character of Last Summer and why?
Josh was the most memorable for me as I could really relate to his experiences. I had a lot in common with him.
Any additional comments?
As my headline says not breaking any new ground but the story was written in a very personal style that really drew me in to the characters and their experiences. I really didn't want it to end and I so wish that MTF would write a sequel to this very touching story.
