Michael Ferriarulo’s narration is a standout. He captures Nico’s fiery, no-nonsense personality with an intensity that makes you feel the dragon’s rage and love in equal measure. His portrayal of Lake is equally captivating, bringing out his charm and vulnerability, making their chemistry jump off the audio.

The plot strikes a good balance between action-packed moments—like clashes with the wolf shifter ex—and tender, fated-mate moments that satisfy fans of shifter romance. The story also sets the stage for the Drake Security series, introducing Nico’s brothers and hinting at future adventures.

If you love dragon shifter romances packed with danger, passion, and a protective alpha who will move mountains for his mate, Hot Head is a must-read. Nico’s fiery temper and Lake’s sharp wit make for an explosive dynamic, and their journey is as heart-pounding as it is heartwarming.

While the book ends on a satisfying note, it leaves just enough intrigue to make you eager for the next installment in the series.

When circumstances force Gabe and Soren to spend time together, their undeniable chemistry comes to a boiling point. But with Gabe’s reluctance to open his heart and Soren’s deadly secrets looming, can they overcome the odds to find love?

The Dynamic Between Gabe and Soren: Gabe’s stoic, emotionally-repressed demeanor collides perfectly with Soren’s playful, chaotic, and slightly possessive nature. Their banter is sharp and often laugh-out-loud funny, but the tenderness beneath their stubborn exteriors is where the magic truly happens.

Fated-Mates Tension: Soren’s obsession with Gabe is electric and palpable from the start, while Gabe’s resistance gives the story a slow-burn edge. Watching their dynamic unfold feels like peeling back layers of vulnerability on both sides.

Michael Ferraiuolo’s Narration: Ferraiuolo captures both characters flawlessly—Soren’s cocky charm and Gabe’s reserved but intense personality shine through his voice acting. His pacing, tone, and ability to convey both humor and emotion enhance every scene.

Roman, a brooding vampire haunted by his past, is reluctantly thrust into a new chapter of his immortal life when he discovers Danny, his fated mate. Danny, a lively and determined human, is the perfect counterbalance to Roman’s stoic and guarded nature. Their dynamic is electric, filled with banter, undeniable chemistry, and emotional depth.

The story explores themes of redemption, trust, and the unyielding power of love in the face of darkness. Danny’s resilience and zest for life provide a refreshing lightness, while Roman’s struggle to open himself to vulnerability gives the story its emotional weight.

Michael Ferraiuolo’s performance is nothing short of stunning. He brings Roman’s brooding, commanding presence to life while infusing Danny’s character with warmth and charm. The way he handles their banter and emotional exchanges is flawless, immersing the listener fully in their journey. Each character has a distinct and memorable voice, making the audiobook a seamless and captivating experience.

Quicksilver by Callie Hart is a spellbinding blend of mystery, danger, and unexpected alliances. Saeris is a beautifully complex protagonist; her resilience and cunning make her incredibly engaging, especially as we see her navigate both the harsh desert and the frozen world of the Fae. Callie Hart crafts her world with vivid detail, immersing readers in the scorching heat of Saeris’s home and the chilling beauty of Yvelia.

Kingfisher is the perfect counterpart to Saeris—dangerous, layered, and far from straightforward. The push and pull between them is electric, and their banter keeps the pace moving as secrets unfold and tensions rise. This story dives deep into themes of trust, survival, and the costs of loyalty, keeping you guessing at every turn. I was completely obsessed 🙌🏾

Narration:
Stella Bloom and Anthony Palmini bring this story to life with a mesmerizing performance. Stella’s portrayal of Saeris captures her toughness and vulnerability, while Anthony’s voice as Kingfisher is brooding and magnetic. Together, they create an immersive listening experience that pulls you further into the story’s magic and danger.

If you’re a fan of Fae mythology, morally gray characters, and epic, multi-layered worlds with stakes that will keep you on the edge, Quicksilver is a must-read/listen

This story was intense from the very start. Arran’s character is the perfect embodiment of the dark, brooding alpha male. His complex, morally gray nature makes him captivating, and I couldn’t help but be drawn to him. Genevieve’s journey from fear to obsession was well-crafted, and I loved how her emotional struggle mirrored the tension between them. The murder mystery and underground city dynamics added another layer of intrigue, pulling me deeper into the world Jolie Vines created. The stakes felt high, making the relationship between the main characters both thrilling and dangerous. If you're into dark romance with suspense and possessive alphas, this book will deliver.
Narration Review:
The multi-cast duet narration elevated the entire experience! Shane East was absolutely perfect as Arran, his voice dripping with danger and allure. Allie Rose portrayed Genevieve with just the right mix of strength and vulnerability, while Ella Lynch ( Alisha ) and Theodore Zephyr ( Shane, Arran’s right hand man ) rounded out the cast brilliantly. The duet recording style, paired with the sound effects, gave it a cinematic feel that had me glued to my headphones. Each voice brought the characters to life, creating an immersive and intense listening experience.

New author and new narrator ALERT for me - Audiobook Review

Endora, a desperate mother, will risk everything to save her daughter. What begins as a matter of survival for both Endora and Aldric quickly transforms into a passionate and dangerous journey neither expected.

This story captivated me until the very last moment. It begins with Lord Aldric, who desperately seeks an heir. He and his dragon, Rhyl, are inseparable—bound so deeply that their survival depends on one another. Their bond is a mystical connection and a living, breathing relationship integral to the plot. The first encounter between Rhyl and Endora, marked by complete acceptance—a rarity for a dragon—was one of the most moving moments in the story. It highlighted the depth of the saying, "A dragon's heart sees what a man's eyes cannot." From that moment, the story accelerated from zero to a thousand, revealing Endora as Aldric's one true mate.

The looming threat of the Knat-Kanassis cult, a group staunchly opposed to Draekon-human unions, escalated the tension and made Endora’s situation perilous. Her ability to mate with a Draekon put them both at risk, raising the stakes as Aldric fought not only for duty but for love. The urgency of their survival was gripping and heightened their emotional intensity.

Narration:

Traci Odom’s narration was outstanding. She brought a soft yet commanding presence to Endora while perfectly capturing Lord Aldric’s cold, stoic nature. The chemistry between them was electric from the start. The stakes felt high from the beginning, and I loved how Aldric’s slow transformation from a duty-bound warrior to a man capable of love made the romance that much more rewarding.
The world-building was rich, vividly bringing the Draekon race and Aldric’s frosty emotional world to life. The concept of a mating contract with life-altering consequences was compelling, and the balance between romance, action, and emotional vulnerability kept the pacing tight, ensuring I remained fully invested in the story.

Favorite Moment:
Dalgo, Aldric’s trusted friend, provided a calm voice of reason throughout the story. His gentle guidance helped Aldric see Endora as more than a woman fulfilling a contract but as his true mate. This element beautifully enhanced the romance, emphasizing the power of friendship and loyalty. Not only does the story explore Draekon-human mates, but it also delves into the idea of dragon mates. Rhyl and Myral, Dalgo’s dragon, are also mates, adding another layer to the exploration of Draekon and dragon connections.

Endora’s journey, from a mother willing to sacrifice everything for her daughter to a woman who gains love, family, and a powerful mate, was incredibly satisfying. Her strength, determination, and heart made her a heroine I truly rooted for. I loved Touch of Ice and didn’t want it to end. I’m eagerly looking forward to the next book in this series!

Charlie Cochet’s writing continues to impress with its balance of thrilling suspense and steamy romance. The Wild Cards spin-off captures everything I love about the *Four Kings Security* universe while giving us fresh and compelling pairings. And Greg Boudreaux—what a perfect choice for the narration! His voice work brings these characters to life in such a dynamic way.

♠️LOVE IN SPADES** kicks off with Anston "Ace" Sharpe, a cocky and fearless leader, who meets Colton Connolly, sparking an undeniable connection. The chemistry between them is electric, and the push-pull tension as they navigate the risks of mixing business with pleasure adds depth to their dynamic.

❤️BE STILL MY HEART**, Russell "Red" McKinley's battle with PTSD is depicted with raw authenticity. His budding relationship with photographer Lazarus Galanos brings healing and hope, but it's also shadowed by danger. Red's internal struggles are as compelling as the external threats, making their journey to love an emotional rollercoaster.

🧧JOIN THE CLUB** focuses on Eduardo "Lucky" Morales, whose guarded heart begins to thaw when he meets the flirty, bold detective Mason Cooper. Their romance is filled with playful banter, but the emotional stakes are high as both men grapple with their pasts. Lucky’s vulnerability is touching, making their love story one of hope and resilience.

♦️DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH** brings Ward "King" Kingston into the spotlight. As the leader of Four Kings Security, his protective instincts are pushed to the limit when he’s tasked with safeguarding Leo, the son of a high-ranking general. The tension between King and Leo is palpable as they face danger together, and their differences make for a richly layered romance.

Overall, *Four Kings Security* offers everything you’d want in a romantic suspense series: heart-pounding action, deep emotional connections, and plenty of heat between the couples. Charlie Cochet does a fantastic job weaving together humor, loyalty, and love, all while giving each of the Four Kings their moment to shine.

Narration Review: Greg Boudreaux
Greg Boudreaux's narration is the perfect complement to this high-octane series. His distinct character voices, combined with his skillful delivery of the emotional nuances, bring the Kings to life. Boudreaux excels in portraying the grit of these hardened soldiers while seamlessly transitioning to their softer, more vulnerable moments. His deep, steady voice keeps you engaged through every thrilling scene, and he nails the tension and chemistry between the couples. Boudreaux’s pacing and tone help elevate the suspenseful aspects while enhancing the romantic beats, making it a truly immersive listening experience.

Bodyman is a poignant exploration of love that transcends the barriers of societal expectations and the demands of public life. The chemistry between Kenan and Garner is electric, and their journey from unspoken longing to full-blown romance is as intense as it is rewarding. The story also raises important questions about the cost of living authentically in the public eye and the courage it takes to claim the love you deserve.

Michael Dean's narration is the perfect complement to Lennox's writing. His voice captures the gravity of Kenan’s internal struggle and the deep, simmering emotions that finally come to the surface. Dean’s performance adds layers to the characters, making the listener feel every heartbeat, every hesitant touch, and every passionate moment between Kenan and Garner. I loved this story so much and what a ending
