I will try to express how awesome this book is. This series is. Regine has blown my mind with such creativity in her characters and world building. I am in love with these Xian Warriors! This audio nailed it for me as well. I highly recommend this whole series. Action. Adventure. Drama. Loss. Love. And of course... Incredible sex! 😍

Great SFR. Fantastic narration.

This made me a fan of Mr. Shedlock. Sexy deep make voice and very well done female voice. Ava Lucas adds depth through acting and a strong, likeable nature voice, but her make voice is strange and robotic.
Overall though, a great story and a pleasure to listen to.

A nice switch up in this book. The H doesn't know he can shift! Then he faces challenges only a Werewolf would face but he has no clue how to handle it. This alone makes the book interesting and a nice change of pace.

Interesting stories overall. 3 books, the last 2 are linked.
Only groaner are the cliche catch phrases and word repetition I personally find dreadful. Holy anything Batman is funny once. ONCE. Let the record reflect... I never want to hear that again. And no one is getting bonked senseless. No matter how many times you inside. Anyway. Still worth the effort to get through all 3 books.

Honestly, I struggled at first with the female narrator.
The story however is excellent. I just had a different voice in my head after reading the book. I'll be reading the rest of this series though. Very well written.
