Well here we go overall this book has great information. However from time to time the lecturer goes in to opinionated semi-rants that only a person living in history would know why they acted in said way. The reader was pretty good if you can get with pauses after each sentence or statement but again the reader immerses you into what it was like back then in these period he gets you to daydream almost. You'll be happy 28 hours later.

A Modern Day Havamal is a fresh and new take on the words of Odin presented in many previous translations. This book is designed to offer the Havamal in a easy-to-understand and current take on the English language. Modern followers of Norse Heathenry, Asatru, and other pagan paths should find this version of the Havamal to be a good listen and deliver the spirit of the words of Odin in a new way.

Historia
In March 1836, the Mexican army led by General Santa Anna massacred more than 200 Texians who had been trapped in the Alamo. After 13 days of fighting, American legends Jim Bowie and Davey Crockett died there, along with other Americans who had moved to Texas looking for a fresh start. It was a crushing blow to Texas' fight for freedom. But the story doesn’t end there. The defeat galvanized the Texian settlers, and under General Sam Houston’s leadership, they rallied. Six weeks after the Alamo, Houston and his band of settlers defeated Santa Anna’s army in a shocking victory.

Historia
Set against the backdrop of the Age of Exploration, Black Flags, Blue Waters reveals the dramatic and surprising history of American piracy's "Golden Age" when lawless pirates plied the coastal waters of North America and beyond. Best-selling author Eric Jay Dolin illustrates how American colonists at first supported these outrageous pirates in an early display of solidarity against the Crown, and then violently opposed them. Upending popular misconceptions and cartoonish stereotypes, Dolin provides this wholly original account of these seafaring outlaws.
