Historia
Shelby Tebow is the first to go missing. Not long after, Meredith Dickey and her six-year-old daughter, Delilah, vanish just blocks away from where Shelby was last seen, striking fear into their once-peaceful community. Are these incidents connected? After an elusive search that yields more questions than answers, the case eventually goes cold. Now, 11 years later, Delilah shockingly returns. Everyone wants to know what happened to her, but no one is prepared for what they'll find....

unbelievable
Revisado: 06-07-21
It kept my attention and was easy to listen to overall, although the narration was sometimes overly dramatic, but the story is not at all a believable one. not one I would listen to twice but not bad for killing some time.

Historia
It’s the fourth of July and the whole town is gathered at the local pool. Through the sweltering afternoon, we single mothers don’t mix with the other women - the ones with the perfect lives and happy marriages. Women like Sabine Miller. But when Sabine shoots me a desperate look across the water and suddenly disappears, my blood runs cold....

Overly dramatic and far fetched
Revisado: 01-09-21
I laughed a couple times, but not because it was meant to be funny. I didn't enjoy the style or way the story was told at all. The perspectives do not line up for the main character. I bet the narrator is very good at sorry telling, but that, too, was over dramatic for me. I did listen to the whole thing, all the way to the abrupt end. I would not say it's super suspenseful, it's predictable. I do appreciate that it is not full of cuss words and sexual content.
