Anyone who has ever even considered putting pen to paper for profit should read this book. It's fast, concise, and ridiculously informative.

A lot of modern military SF tends to play it fast and loose with the "military" part of the formula. Not the case with Kennedy. There is no doubt this guy served in the Navy, and it shows in the work.
Solid story, sound characters... all and all, a great read.

What made the experience of listening to Swarm the most enjoyable?
Fast-paced, fun characters, alien starships, civil wars, and an 'everyday Joe' protagonist who just so happens to be an ex-military badass... "meat and potatoes" scifi at its best. Blast of a read!
