but Erin Moon has more than capably stepped into William Dufris' shoes here. I started listening to this one with some trepidation since I've had poor experiences in the past when authors were forced to changed narrators of a series for one reason or another but that certainly isn't the case here.

She's perfect as Vickie and did quite a job of maintaining the feel of other characters from the Vesik world while giving them a new voice, literally. I'm quite happy that Asher chose her to carry on for William.

Vickie, everyone's favorite little ghost turned Demigod turned Harrower turned Demon turned soul sword wielding preteen is back with Jasper, her pet dragon Reaver by her side, ready to kick butt. For those who have wondered about Drake, Wahya, and the rest of the Obsidian Inn this is your book. It picks up with Damian having merged with Hern to become an unstoppable colossus of gravemaker and Fae magic that is soon to be under Nudd's control. Enter Vickie, Samantha, and Damian's friends to the.....you didn't think I'd spoil the whole thing, did you?. Give it a listen. You won't regret it.

Great story plus the best audiobook reader in the business? You can't go wrong. The only problem with Asher's stories is I always read through them too quickly.

I can't wait to learn the backstory for all these characters. I came in expecting a Vesik like thrill ride and found a Terry Brooksian world waiting to be explored.

Would you try another book from Lian Hearn and/or Kevin T. Collins?

I'd absolutely would try, and have tried, other books by Lian Hearn. I probably wouldn't try anything else if Kevin T. Collins is reading it though

What didn’t you like about Kevin T. Collins’s performance?

It didn't match any of the other books in the series in tone or pronunciation of names and places. If you're going to switch readers at least make sure they pronounce the main character's names in the same way that the other readers of the series have.

Could you see His Kikuta Hands being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?

Would you listen to The Glory of Their Times again? Why?

Again and Again. I've listened to this audiobook 20+ times. The interviews with the players are amazing.

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Glory of Their Times?

Listening to Hans Lobert talking about his Babe Ruth memorabilia took his chapter from my least favorite in print to my most favorite in the whole thing.

Glory of Their Times is a great printed book for the lover of the Golden Age of Baseball. The audiobook though takes it to an entirely new level because, instead of Larry Ritter's excellent storytelling transcription of his interviews that you get in print, you actually get to listen to the interviews themselves as if you were there. Ritter prefaces every chapter/interview with a humorous anecdote and some background on the player that's being interviewed then the real delight begins.
