Historia
The Kennedy name has long been synonymous with wealth, power, glamor, and—above all else—integrity. But this carefully constructed veneer hides a dark truth: the pattern of Kennedy men physically and psychologically abusing women and girls, leaving a trail of ruin and death in each generation’s wake. Through decades of scandal after scandal—from sexual assaults to reputational slander, suicides to manslaughter—the family and their defenders have kept the Kennedy brand intact.

interesting viewpoint and insights

I enjoyed this book since it was not gossipy, but thoughtful and brutally honest. I originally heard about it on a podcast. I found it enjoyable enough to listen straight through in one day. I would recommend to other women who are interested in a post #metoo take on the Kennedy clan. 5 stars!

I appreciated that this was about an hour long and addresses many of my fears and questions as the mother of an 8 year old boy with ADHD & ASD Level 1. I feel better about my situation and my ability to handle things moving forward. Would recommend to others who are interested in understanding people with Asperger’s and will help you educate others.

It’s like chatting with your best friends about true crime. And they donate to charity. There’s nothing disrespectful about this podcast, unless you think advocating for victim’s rights is disrespectful. 🤷♀️

Great for introduction into the ASD world
Revisado: 03-17-22
As the mother of a child who was recently diagnosed with ASD, I felt lost and alone and didn’t know where to turn. I joined an autism support group on Facebook and came to Audible and downloaded a bunch of books. This one is, by far, my favorite. It answered all my questions and provided great tips for me to use in my daily life as well as in the future. I recommend this book for all parents who are struggling to understand how to best help their child with ASD. Good luck to you all! <3

Historia
Erika Jayne didn't make it this far by holding back. Now, in her first-ever memoir, the fan favorite star of Bravo's The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills bares her heart, mind, and soul. In Pretty Mess, Erika spills on every aspect of her life: from her rise to fame as a daring and fiery pop/dance performer and singer; to her decision to accept a role on reality television; to the ups and downs of family life (including her marriage to famed lawyer Tom Girardi, 33 years her senior). There's much more to Erika Jayne than fans see on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
