Yes. Mentoring’s self-help book is easily organized, and is a quick, helpful read for anyone looking to resolve difficult personal or work relationships. Geared toward managers and team members, this book could provide a quick activity at company meetings. Conversely, it can be read on personal terms, on a walk, at the gym, or in during a commute.

Yes. The author analyzes several personality types, including lazy, arrogant, ignorant, negative, and dramatic. He gives substantial cause-and-effect examples of interactions with toxic people, and then provides tips on how to cope with their presence in the workplace or in a social setting. Mentoring gives useful advice on how to overcome these undesirable personality types by observing their behavior objectively. The author uses hypothetical situations to give objective advice to keep the situation positive and healthy for all parties involved.

The content of the book is easily consumed; however, at times the narrator is difficult to understand. He speaks clearly but without flow. Once accustomed to the narrator’s way of reading, his diction becomes easier to understand, along with the content.
