I could listen to Thich for endless hours...and i already have. In this recording I loved hearing him introduce the prostrations...when sister Chan spoke..well it almost felt like a Saturday night live sketch...this could just be me... and unfair, but I just didn't connect to her..

Great grounding on social media..

Stays away from the tool focused obsession in social media and instead focuses on the core impact and underlying phenomenon of this huge culture changing trend. The message transcends the tools of today(which constantly change) and will be just as meaningful when a whole new set of tools kicks in..i disagree about the narration not being good..i liked hearing the author, he was connected to the content and had plenty of energy and conviction in his reading...a professional narrator might read professionally but not have a clue about what they were reading...

Terrence Reale shares some of the deepest most profound influences western society puts on men and woman from birth. These influences sow the most persistent and damaging seeds of discontent in men and women by setting unrealistic(and sometimes dangerous)expectations that only the most motivated can overcome. This is a clear case where the audio book must be superior to the printed version; you can really feel the level of compassion he has for his subjects, which includes his readers. The author does an excellent job delivering on his mission to help us see how we have been unintentionally set up by our mothers, fathers, coaches and society to fail in our relationships and marriages. The author does this somehow without blame or guilt..a must for anyone wondering how relationships unravel even when we think we are doing the right thing.

i enjoyed listening to someone who could take such an experienced, compassionate yet very practical view on our thought processes and traps that are so common and block happiness..to know these things is to at least know they exist, or even better to let go of our own fabricated dysfunction...and just live

geared for large companies with many layers. a few nuggets for small business owners. narrator uses a fair amount of consulteze blather but Bossidy's voice balances it out with straightforward delivery of ideas.
