The over all story and world was a cool idea. but my god the female MC made me want to pull out my hair. I ended up giving up and listening to the last few chapters just to see the conclusion of the murder plot. The ending was under whelming.

I normally never write negative reviews but here is an exception. Fairytale, magic, and Joel Leslie narration was an auto buy however only an hour in I had to shut it off. Way too many political and pandemic comments. This is a fairytale romance which I felt didn't need all that stuff, not to say it doesn't have a place in anyone's reading it just wasn't what I wanted especially with everything going on currently. I wanted to smile and have some escapism. Just didn't do it for me maybe I will try at a later date.

Amazing new narrator!!

This was a short and sweet story that brought a smile to my face. I really enjoy this universe and am glad for a new narrator. Zane Daniels is a fantastic narrator, can not wait to listen to more from him.

The mystery portion of the novel was okay. The who done it reveal was a huh? and the why of it all was so under whelming I was like I gave up nearly 8 hours for this. Then there is the barely there romance, which was more like two sexual interludes and some possible concern for ones safety. Kale Williams was the only truly remarkable thing about this story, he did an excellent job. Will not be picking up the rest of this series which is disappointing cause I had high hopes.

This story was so disheveled and uncoordinated I'm actually sad I wasted 5 bucks. There is a merman on the cover the blurb implies a merman will play a large role in the short story. Nope this story is about wierd and oddly time blowjobs. I was thinking to myself what am I even listening to. definitely skip this if you aren't looking for awkward oral.

horrible narration

I normally can excuse just about anything if I truly enjoy a book, but the audio quality and lack luster narration just killed some of my joy. I usually easy to please cause I have varied taste however Mr Zaba's flat performance made a cute fluff filled paranormal read sad. This book could really used a strong performer to really boost it never the less I did enjoy the story.

Beautiful Story

I really enjoyed this book, but Bruce Cullen's portion of the narration was so bad and totally did not suit Derek's character at all. honestly please redo this with just Joel Leslie.
