The story was pretty good and I really enjoyed the voice actors and music/sound effects. The big moments, like a major conflict resolution or big reveal from the “villain,” those just felt a little clunky. Maybe it was the dialogue, not sure. I found myself feeling a little underwhelmed in the bigger moments. But I’m sticking around for season 2 and enjoyed it overall!

Love this podcast but I’m listening to the retelling of testimony and it actually makes no sense. We were talking about a detectives testimony and then without warning we’re listening to a witnesses testimony. Mixed in with the hosts’ commentary and I’m completely lost. Love you guys, honestly, but the storytelling in this one is very convoluted.

I was shocked at the number of A List celebs. It really made for a fun listen. I recommend NOT looking at the credits beforehand and trying to guess who is who. Ari (one of the characters) took me till the very end to finally get it! I should’ve known the actor. Just sayin.

Best book I’ve read all year

I actually laughed out loud. I actually cried. I felt nauseous and sweaty during the retelling of a difficult training exercise with broken bones. I felt fear and joy, frustration and relief. This book took me on an unexpected emotional journey while learning about the author’s incredible life. Thank you, Mr. Adeleke, for sharing your story so openly and honestly. It will impact many lives for sure.
