Christmas is just around the corner, but the women of The Chocolate Lovers' Club have more to worry about than present shopping.... Lucy loves running Chocolate Heaven, but she hasn't spent time with her boyfriend, Aiden, in weeks. And then her ex-fiance turns up, and things become even more complicated. A bit disappointed
Revisado: 03-08-18
Is there anything you would change about this book?
I would change how Lucy was portrayed in Book 3. She seemed to have ended on a stronger note in Book 2 than how she was portrayed in this book in regards to Marcus.
What do you think the narrator could have done better?
I wish the narrator (which I normally love) would have stuck with the voices she gave Lucy and Chantal in Books 1 and 2. In Book 3, Lucy had a bit of a squeaky/whiny voice, and Chantal had an English accent she didn't have in the first 2 books (considering she was an American).

Historia
Return to the Cornish Café in this gorgeous festive romance - the perfect book to curl up with this Christmas. Christmas will be slightly less turbulent than summer, won't it? Demi certainly hopes so. She and Cal are keeping their fledgling relationship under wraps for now. But then Kit Bannen, a hunky, blond - and somewhat mysterious - writer arrives at Kilhallon Resort, and not everyone is charmed. Cal is sure that Kit is hiding something. But is he the only one guarding a secret?

Good story, but...

Though I enjoyed the narrator’s voice, I had a hard time following who was talking because her voice didn’t change between characters for the most part.

Where does The Birds and the Bees rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
I really enjoyed this book. So much so that I have heard it a couple times already. It was light-hearted and fun. I enjoyed the relationship between Stevie and Adam. I also really liked the narrator, Becky Hindley. She did great bringing life to each character. I wish she would narrate more of Milly Johnson's books.
