I loved Lord Foulgrin's Letters, so wanted to try this with my young adults. The story is good, the demonic expression is very good, but overall, I felt they need a better narrator. I don't like listening to voices that sound like this modern world: a man trying to be a woman - when the narrator was trying to sound like teenage girls. Also, sadly, the abridgement really took a lot from the story, so we read the book alongside the narration and had to stop at times, as there were sections where 25 pages were missing in a single chunk. I think this would be much better not being abridged.
