Historia
Lord Randolph Gresham has come to London for one reason only – to find a suitable wife. Verity Sinclair may be intelligent, beautiful and full of spirit, but her father knows a secret about Randolph that makes her entirely unsuitable as his bride. Not right for him at all, never, not a chance. Verity knows that Lord Randolph lives in a country parish, and she wants nothing more than to escape to town. He may be fascinating, attractive, rich and the son of a duke, but she'll never marry him, nor will she talk to him, flirt with him, walk with him or dine with him.

Overall, I enjoy this book and it’s always great to see the other people in the past stories. The hear heroine and her friends were pretty young matters. It really does end abruptly and some of the story wasn’t really explained..

overall, the book was good though I didn’t really love the heroine. And then she didn’t give the boat to her husband to be as planned. She was on the selfish end, but it was pretty much good. Unfortunately, it ends so abruptly you feel like didn’t finish the story. so I guess they are just going to ride in her new ship and if she has kids, they’ll be there too. I don’t see that working. it really could’ve been amazing story but it just didn’t make it.

It was a long story, but they waste a lot of time so at the end you really lost a lot of the problems they had from the hero and heroine problems when they married. It just ended. Yes they are together and they love each other but they still have a lot of problems. But it is a good book.

Not my favorite in this series
Revisado: 01-02-25
When I really have problems with this, Audible book is the narrator female is too deadpan, and it ruins the audible book.. I really am having a hard time finishing . And I don’t like the production of this Audible book. It’s like the female parts and the descriptions are played in a computer and the male part was not synced with the female parts. It’s almost like he was using a cell phone.!! so the experience was terrible as a audible book. I didn’t have this problem with the three books in the series before, but this one is really bad.. I think they really should scrap this one and redo it.. the female parts were loud and then the male part was very tiny. It just was not synced well..

I like the premise and rider, but Pike is just over the top. And it’s at the same time frame at book 2 many are exactly the same. Some is changed, but it’s still the same events. So basically it became very boring to me.. I feel like I bought this book 2 times. They could’ve made this into one book for both book 2 and three books.. I’m afraid if I get book for will I be getting another repeated contact again?.
There were so many big stories about their relationships since she doesn’t live there.
The book could’ve been excellent, but it really didn’t make it. It is easy to read and an enjoyable, but not for the price that I paid.. sorry // easy Christmas story but you’ll forget about it real soon.

I love the mistletoe series
Revisado: 12-26-24
Overall, it’s good but pretty much light on plot. Delilah was a little bit annoying or a drama queen though I didn’t like her. And Holly was a little different.. but it is what I expected easy way to escape without using your brain cell.

Not a Christmas story
Revisado: 12-22-24
It’s not enjoyable. Week, plot and it is very short and it’s only about a hook up between two characters. Definitely not a Christmas story there are a lot better ones than this one for free. This one was two dollars so wait and save the two dollars I like the narrator but I didn’t know the author and I just gave it a chance. He definitely did need to think in this story. No drama and a little boring.. but you may enjoy it if that’s your bag.

Historia
There was no doubt that things had definitely looked better for Gabriel Atwood, one time Viscount Northwood. Mainly because everyone who knew him or of him almost certainly believed him dead—the bastard who'd betrayed him had made sure of that. His only hope was to seek aid from Nicholas Sinclair, his former mentor, now the current Duke of Blackmore, before his enemies realised that news of his demise had been greatly exaggerated.

Historia
Reverend Augustus Shackleford's mission in life (aside from ensuring the collection box was suitably full every Sunday) was to secure advantageous marriages for each of his eight daughters. A tall order, given the fact that in the Reverend's opinion they didn't possess a single ladylike bone in the eight bodies they had between them. Quite where he would find a wealthy titled gentleman bottle headed enough to take any of them on remained a mystery and indeed was likely to test even his legendary resourcefulness.

Missed the mark
Revisado: 03-22-24
Although I enjoyed the short read, it is a throw away book. Read it. Forget it. But it should’ve been so much better. Can you imagine a thicker that has eight girls I thought there was lots of Waze to really enjoy this read. But you never ever Heard from any of the eight or nine kids or ladies. The oldest child, who is of course, not a child. Period. Period. Her name is Grace and is not graceful.! I thought she’d be very spunky, because at first she thought she would be. But she was really hard to really talk and doesn’t really put up for herself. She throws up. She thinks. Cries. And she does a thing that I really hate is she says how sorry she is to her husband, even though she really wasn’t in fault at all. He really was arusticate …. Lot of the problems would’ve been if they just actually talked one time. So I was glad that I read it but I was glad when it was done. You may love it. No problem. I think we’ll finally hear the other sisters. Probably one at a time. Maybe it was easier for the author rather than worrying about multiple personalities.
