Historia
A natural storyteller and raconteur in his own right - just listen to Paddle Your Own Canoe and Gumption - actor, comedian, carpenter, and all-around manly man Nick Offerman (Parks and Recreation) brings his distinctive baritone and a fine-tuned comic versatility to Twain's writing. In a knockout performance, he doesn't so much as read Twain's words as he does rejoice in them, delighting in the hijinks of Tom - whom he lovingly refers to as a "great scam artist" and "true American hero".

Historia
Minalan gave up a promising career as a professional warmage to live the quiet life of a village spellmonger in the remote mountain valley of Boval. It was a peaceful, beautiful little fief, far from the dangerous feudal petty squabbles of the Five Duchies, on the world of Callidore. There were cows. Lots of cows. And cheese. For six months things went well: He found a quaint little shop, he befriended the local lord, the village folk loved him, he found a sharp young apprentice to help out, and, best yet, he met a comely young widow with the prettiest eyes.

Revisado: 03-05-17
Would you consider the audio edition of Spellmonger to be better than the print version?
Yes and No, the performance can make or break an audio book but a good story is always a good read. This just happens to to be both great story and great performance.
What other book might you compare Spellmonger to and why?
I think it is more colorful, but just ad good as Dragon Lance
What does John Lee bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Good voices and adds depth to the story
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
Yes, I laughed alot I like quick whit mage humor
Any additional comments?
WHY would you have a preview of book 2 at the end and not have it available for purchase on Audible.

Historia
The adventuring industry drives the economy of Arth, a world much like our own but with more magic and fewer vowels. Monsters' hoards are claimed, bought by corporate interests, and sold off to plunder funds long before the Heroes' Guild actually kills the beasts. Of course, that's a terrible arrangement for the Shadowkin; orcs, goblins, kobolds, and their ilk must apply for to become Noncombatant Paper Carriers (or NPCs) to avoid being killed and looted by heroes.

Historia
The ancient Druid Atticus O’Sullivan gets more than greasy corn dogs and flat soda when he visits a carnival in Kansas to which his apprentice, Granuaile, drags him. He runs across a barker with a strange power over the crowd: attractive women leave their men and disappear into an unmarked tent, never to be seen again, and the men wander away, forgetting that they ever had girlfriends or wives. When Granuaile falls under the barker’s influence and enters the tent, Atticus isn’t about to forget it and move on.

Entertaining but not the same
Revisado: 02-01-17
Was entertaining but the performance was lacking compared to the rest of the series. But it does leave you wanting more of the iron druid and oberon's sausage filled shenanigans
