thought-provoking but mostly antidotical.

For a book that bashes antidoteco solutions by the medical profession, this book is no better. It has very few citations and scientific research for or against many of the things that this book recommends. Please take any suggestions from this book with a grain of salt. I am saying that as somebody who is following many of the suggestions of this book. I was doing that prior to reading this book, but I also know the limitations of the science in this book seems to escape from norms.

not too bad for a technical subject

an entertaining and yet educational example of how to write a book. While the subject was complex and events occurred in different sequences, the author was able to extract and show timeline that made sense from both sides.

Interesting, but missing the point due to brevity

While the author is knowledge, cites statistics, quotes and artifacts, this is one of the most shallow books I have every read. I expected more. maybe the book would be 800 pages if he developed his ideas.

Few people would read that masterpiece, but it would have been a masterpiece instead of this.

A bit dated but still good

This seems to be a situation that's common with Great Courses material. teacher was fluent and understood his subject, audience, in nobility to stay entertaining. However, this course appears to be at the turn of the century.

Still it is worthwhile background for anyone who wishes to learn the fundamentals of quantum mechanics, theory of relativity and Science in general.

A little dated, still very good ref. point

As the title mentions this is a very good reference point. However is a bit dated and needs to be updated with current examples. On the other side, this is one of the few factual documents about the left vs right discussions going on in the world.
