Historia
Books are Rosie Taft’s life. And ever since she took over her mother’s beloved Manhattan bookstore, they’ve become her home too. The only thing missing is her own real-life romance like the ones she loves to read about, and Rosie has an idea of who she might like to sweep her off her feet. She’s struck up a flirty online friendship with lesbian romance author Brie, and what could be more romantic than falling in love with her favorite author?

Light, positive and sweet
Revisado: 02-17-25
I enjoyed the story and the characters who felt very real. The story also felt very girl-power as they both have strong, successful careers and made decisions that were intelligent and intentional and I liked that. The story was performed well.
My only critique is that the sex scenes were rather lack luster, but I think maybe I read spicer books. I would recommend this book to someone who enjoys bookstore, author, and hidden identity romance stories.

Historia
Sure, lesbians love to bring a U-Haul on the second date. But what happens when the U-Haul crashes? For Amelia Stone, it's a literal question as much as a figurative one. When plans to move in with her girlfriend go sideways, she's left with more questions about their future than answers. It doesn't help that she's spending far more time with the paramedic who came to her rescue than the woman she's supposed to be in love with.

So sweet
Revisado: 11-18-24
Sweet story, light and believable. And extra lovely that the winter holidays are involved. Both main characters are very likable and the story flows very well. Recommended if you like a sweet and spicy, friends to lovers, low conflict story.

Beautiful
Revisado: 11-30-23
This story started slow but was always haunting. I love character driven stories. If you like big plots and thrills, this isn’t the book for you. But you like lyrical, beautiful lines that sneak up on you and make you cry; if you like words that create images better than on a movie screen; if you like the slow burn of a story unraveling before you with depth and truth and dancing words, you will enjoy this story. I loved it. Thank you for reminding me how lovely a novel can be. 🩷 And thank you too for telling a real love story with every kind of love. Just beautiful.

Delilah Green swore she would never go back to Bright Falls—nothing is there for her but memories of a lonely childhood where she was little more than a burden to her cold and distant stepfamily. Her life is in New York, with her photography career finally gaining steam and her bed never empty. Sure, it’s a different woman every night, but that’s just fine with her.

Enjoyable story with great characters
Revisado: 09-25-23
The character had great stories that made them believable and also created nice tension. Steamy scenes and sweet scenes freckled with humor and nice character growth all made this a pleasant listen.
Narrator varied voices and it was easy to follow. All over well done.
Glad the “coven of queers” was called out cause it was really the only part I didn’t buy. Grabbing her next book now…

Nice slow burn
Revisado: 01-27-23
While the main character is a bit over dramatic, the story is fun to listen to and let unravel. I love the variety of characters. The diverse cast is fun and nice to see represented. Enjoyable story that I recommend.
I didn’t care at all for the cabin scene as it seemed very unrealistic and kinda gross, but overall I enjoyed the settings and they were really their own character in a way too.

Sexy happily ever after
Revisado: 01-27-23
It was hot and steamy with a pleasant story line. It was able to manage not having a lot of conflict or drama while also not being sappy or cheesy. If you want a feel good story with steamy bits, I’d recommend this listen.

Enter Allison Sawyer, a free-spirited senior at New York University. Elena is intrigued by Allison's ability to push her out of her element, and the young woman's instant and easy connection with a normally shy Lucas quickly earns Allison the job. After each blind date, Elena returns home to complain to Allison about her lacking suitors. Couldn’t finish
Revisado: 11-11-22
I almost gave up two other times but finally called it quits at Nora’s inquisition. I have no idea why these two like each other and we really aren’t given a reason. Cause one is hot and the other makes her snort-laugh? Lame.
The narrator did a great job with the characters but the author didn’t. It felt like it should have been an age gap romance but it wasn’t. It was just two woman biologically three years apart and emotionally 100. More annoying that cute, but it had some moments and that’s what kept me engaged, until it didn’t.

Great story! Funny, fun plot, sweet story with lovely characters. Opposites attract and sex positive and also not raunchy as the teaser might cause a reader to believe. Well done.

Historia
A business parable about how to create a start-up that won't trap you when you want to sell it. According to John Warrillow, the number one mistake entrepreneurs make is to build a business that relies too heavily on them. Thus, when the time comes to sell, buyers aren't confident that the company-even if it's profitable-can stand on its own. To illustrate this, Warrillow introduces us to a fictional small business owner named Alex who is struggling to sell his advertising agency.

While some people complained about the narrator, I had no issues listening at 1.5x speed as I usually do. Content was easy to understand and digest. I’d recommend it for entrepreneurs.
