Pleasantly surprised
Revisado: 02-01-25
Great story. I was pleasantly surprised by the emotion of it. The narrator was okay, his French accents were weird and not consistent and sometimes talked robotically but overall not bad

One of the Best
Revisado: 12-19-24
This is one of the best books I have ever listened to. The narrator was amazing! I would give him 10 stars if I could. The writing incredible. I was totally immersed in the story from the beginning. The was the perfect mix of story line, writing and narration. I wish they were all like this.

It was okay. The story was good, the characters a little annoying but the narrator was terrible. He sounded like a robot reading the script.

Bad narrator
Revisado: 08-30-24
The narrator made it almost impossible to listen to this book. All of the male voices were the same nasally version of her normal voice and she had weird inflections. The “southern” police officer only had a southern accent for half of her sentences and then turned back to normal. I powered through to see how it ended. It was ok

Wasn’t what I expected
Revisado: 07-12-24
This book wasn’t what I expected. I kept waiting for it to get to the haunting part, and when it did it was so minor as to not be relevant. It was actually quite boring. Disappointed overall.

Worst Narration EVER
Revisado: 05-18-24
I am a quarter of the way through and not sure I can finish. The narration is so bad. She sounds like she is annoyed yelling everything - it is shrill and grating. Makes me wonder if the producers even listen to the narration before releasing it.

Ok
Revisado: 05-05-24
The story was ok. It took a bit to get into the story and characters. I had the twist figured out half way through the book and the way the narrator said Olivia OL-Livia drove me insane - and she says it ALOT.

Unnecessarily long
Revisado: 04-14-24
This book is about 8 hours too long due to all of the unnecessary details that add nothing to the story. Who cares what color pajama pants someone is wearing or what cereal they are eating. It was a lot of filler and became annoying. The narrator was good except his women voices, they all sounded like a man pretending to be a woman with high wispy voices.
