Great urban fantasy with mystery and romance
Revisado: 10-19-16
Dance with the Devil is a great urban fantasy with mystery and romance. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a fun book with quirky characters.
Paul Morey does a great job with the narration for this book. He really brings the characters to life.
This is a highly entertaining story with well-developed characters, engaging mysteries and intriguing world development. I love how the characters and main plot are developed through many mini-mystery sub-plots.
There is some playful dubcon in this book. It didn't change my enjoyment of the book. But I know it's not for everyone.
Overall I loved this book, and I can't wait to move onto the next one.

Intriguing post-apocalyptic adventure!
Revisado: 08-02-16

4.5 Stars
Who Knows the Dark is an intriguing post-apocalyptic adventure. The narration is done perfectly. As with the first book, Jonathan Young really brings this story to life with his performance. I highly recommend this series to anyone looking for a strong action/suspense story with some romance.
This book is a bit slower paced than the first. The focus is on mystery and suspense as the characters work to puzzle their way through the complications of their forced exile. The pacing fits the story perfectly. It's highly engaging and really hard to put down.
My only complaint is I feel like the ending is a bit abrupt. In the first book the ending was perfect for me. There was a definite feeling of some kind of conclusion, even knowing there was more to come. I didn't get that feeling with this ending, and that was mildly disappointing.
This series has a romantic sub-plot, and there are a few explicit sex scenes. But I wouldn't recommend this to someone looking for a highly romantic or erotic story.
Overall, I loved this book! I'm emotionally connected to the characters, and the story has totally sucked me in. I can't wait for the next one!

Thrilling, edge-of-your-seat ride!
Revisado: 07-24-16
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Definitely!
Any additional comments?
Who Knows the Storm is a thrilling, edge-of-your-seat ride! I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a strong action/suspense story with some romance. The narration is perfectly done, and the choices of the different voices are great. Jonathan Young's performance really brings the story to life.
A gay vigilante ... about time! This book throws together so many genres I love. It is a dystopian adventure with suspense, mystery and a vigilante main character. The characters are wonderfully written. They have depth, history, and personality. The detailed way the world is developed makes it really come to life. The story itself is immediately engaging. The well-timed reveals of present and past mysteries kept me intrigued through the whole book, not quite knowing what was coming next. The many moving parts in the story make it thoroughly entertaining.
The romantic story is a secondary plot to the main story. The romance is steamy, and the few sex scenes are explicit and hot. But I wouldn't recommend this to someone looking for a highly romantic or erotic novel.
I wouldn't recommend this as a standalone. Some important things are left unanswered, but there is a definite sense of conclusion to this first part of the series. I'm very much looking forward to the next book!

Historia
The Intergalactic Star Pilot Academy has accepted Thierry Leroux into the elite class of sky year 2231. But the academy comes with a hefty price tag, and there's no way he, a poor Sythe orphan, has the credits the academy requires. Thierry's brother, Corbin, a high-class companion, suggests Thierry sell his virginity for the cost of tuition. It seems like a ridiculous idea, but it may be Thierry's only shot, so Thierry asks Corbin to arrange a meeting on the pleasure planet of Wish.

Unique coming of age romance
Revisado: 06-02-16
3.5 Stars
To the Highest Bidder is intriguing, entertaining, and heartwarming. The narration is not bad, but I find it a bit awkward at times, which detracts from the story. If I was reviewing the text version I would rate it at 4 stars instead of 3.5.
This story is unique and immediately engaging. Thierry's infatuation with his mystery lover is endearing. But I'm glad things come back down to earth, or it could have become silly. As it is, the mystery romance becomes a tool that reveals interesting elements of their personalities.
The characters in this story are well developed, and the romance is a sexy and bitter-sweet journey.
Overall, I enjoyed this story, and I'm looking forward to the next one. I did feel, however, that some parts did drag a little making the story feel a bit padded.
I recommend this book to someone looking for a unique Sci-Fi romance and coming of age story.

3.5 Stars
Charlie's Hero is a light, enjoyable, and sexy story. But I feel the narration distracts a little from the story instead of enhancing it.
Joel Leslie's voices are good in this reading, but overall it seems a bit over-acted. I would have rated the text version at 4 stars instead of 3.5.
Charlie and Josh are great characters, well-developed and relatable. Their romance is sweet and sexy. The sex scenes are well-written, plentiful, and hot! Even though this is the first of a series it is also a good stand-alone book.
I enjoyed this story but found it a little slow. It didn't suck me in and really engage me.
I recommend this to anyone looking for an easy and sexy, contemporary read.

Wonderful! Moving and Romantic
Revisado: 05-21-16
Any additional comments?
Brute is an engaging, moving, and romantic story. This book is read beautifully by K.C. Kelly who really brings the story to life.
This story has a unique premise, and it had me immediately engaged. The characters are well developed and easy to love. The story of Brute's life is very powerful and moving, and his compassion and bravery shine through. Gray is resilient and strong. Their romance is sweet and also heartbreaking at times.
The sex scenes are well written and passionate, but I wouldn't recommend this for someone looking for a highly erotic story.
I highly recommend this book to anyone looking for strong fantasy genre M/M romance.

Engaging and insightful - romantic and sexy!
Revisado: 05-01-16
Any additional comments?
This is yet another fantastic book by Kim Fielding, engaging and insightful. It's also another great reading job by K.C. Kelly. He really brings this story to life.
Rattlesnake shows so much depth and understanding of human nature. There is a lot of wisdom woven throughout it in a very natural way. This is a story about home and belonging as well as the courage to love and be loved. Jimmy and Shane are great characters, both scarred and resilient. And their romance is bittersweet and sexy. I love how certain aspects of their stories are revealed subtly over time.
This book has a realistic and down-to-earth quality that makes it very engaging. As I've noticed in some other books by Kim Fielding, her characters aren't supermodel types. It's refreshing and endearing. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a realistic love story with depth.

Heartwarming story about love and family
Revisado: 04-29-16
Any additional comments?
This is a light and heartwarming story, beautifully read. This is not one of my favorite books by Kim Fielding, but I still enjoyed it very much.
As Nicky is forced to make some drastic changes in his life, he faces the issues of what it means to grow up, have a career, home, love and family. All these issues are dealt with well as we get to know and love Nicky. Spencer and Nicky's romance is more in the background as the focus is more on Nicky's journey. But their romance is sweet, as Spencer learns to let go and Nicky learns to trust again. There is more focus on romance than sex in this story.
I recommend with for anyone looking for a fun story about starting over.

Cute and fun romance
Revisado: 04-03-16
This is a sweet story, light and fun. And Michael really brings the story to life in his reading of it.
Quinn and Spencer are fun characters, and their progression from friends to lovers happens in a light-hearted and natural way. This book is focused much more on relationship building than on sex. So the sex scenes are well done and hot, but infrequent.
I highly recommend this to someone looking for a cute, low-angst romance.

Witty, sexy and fun
Revisado: 03-16-16
Any additional comments?
I really enjoyed this story. I was pleasantly surprised to find twists and turns in what I thought might be a fairly predictable story. It was lighthearted, witty, and fun.
Chris and Jesse are well developed and lovable characters. And I found Jesse's step-mother to be a really great supporting character. The story shows a side of romance that can be fumbling and awkward, crashing and burning at times. But something beautiful can still be salvaged from the wreckage.
This is read well by John Solo, but I don't feel his performance of Chris' voice really fits. It was enough of an issue for me that it took away slightly from what was a very enjoyable story otherwise.
All in all, I recommend this book, but I feel I would have enjoyed it more in text as opposed to audio.
