I liked how a famous character was given a twist and an alternative back story. It was very entertaining.

The sound was really good with all the special sound effects and and added to the entertainment value a lot.

This is the first book I have read by Lisa Gardner. It certainly won’t be the last. It was a pleasant surprise to see that the next book in the series is ready to go.

The Narration was also excellent. It so nice when the narrator is able to perform the different character voices.

The story itself, is a good old fashioned mystery/thriller. The reader doesn’t even know if the missing girls are alive or not. Is it a situation of finding a murderer, or saving a teenage girl who ran away for some bizarre reason. All is revealed at the end.

I enjoyed the fact that the main character was dynamic, gifted, and terribly flawed at the same time. Through the story, the reader learns what makes the characters who they are.

The ending was actually quite satisfying. I pretty much anticipated what would happen, after the mystery was solved, yet a part of me, wanted to see a break in the main character’s routine, however, the author made the conclusion bitter sweet, and not disappointing at all. That’s refreshing.

It’s a great book for anyone who loves mysteries, especially if you have fought addictions and strive for a way to curb the cravings. It’s a story of hard lives, lost lives, and recovery. It’s about life mistakes, bad decisions, and new beginnings.

Before She Disappeared is definitely worth every penny.

It’s a bit hard to review this book, without spoiling the most recent events in the series. I will say that this book had it all. Secret, missions, major battles, lustful conflicts, new technologies, and a bittersweet ending.

As usual, James Patrick Cronin Did an excellent job of narrating. This series just wouldn’t be the same without his wonderful dynamic method of reading. He makes it seem like there are many narrators, not just one. Between the writing, and narration, USS Hamilton creates an amazing movie in one’s head.

I would like to have seen all of the conflicts resolved, but I’m assuming that the sequel will back step, and tie up some conflicts. This book definitely ended in a way that begs for a good sequel. I’m looking forward to starting that.

This is a great addition to the series, and I definitely recommend it to any science fiction fan.

Garrison Keillor is one of my all time favorite American Authors. Lake Wobegon Days is an absolute classic.

It’s a novel that is not based on some huge event that threatens the world, or anything like that. It’s about life in a simple town. It’s about the trials and tribulations we go through in life.

The secret to this being such a great piece of work is Keillor’s ability to write in a captivating manner. His humor is subtle and is well balanced.

On top of that, we get to hear the great story teller himself read his own book. I can’t imagine it being read by anyone else.

Overall, I have nothing but praise for this book and Garrison Keillor. I highly recommend it.

He May have been known as Captain Slow, on “Top Gear,” but reveals his many talents in this book. He has a great British type of humor that enables him to make even the most dreadful hypothetical situations, hilarious. Not to mention the fact, that it is possible some of the scenarios, in this book, could actually happen.

James May is a man full of talents. Have an amazing imagination, and a great ability to convey them.
