All Spice No Story

I love this author and the book is spicy but only spicy scenes got boring. There’s no story. I’m having a hard time finishing it. I need something else to happen.

Good but lacking

Supposedly the main character has a lot of power but she keeps getting into trouble only her males can save her from. The action in the storyline is lacking and the sex scenes are precise. It’s an interesting original story line but just not keeping my interest. I feel like I don’t really know the characters or even why the main character is still interested in them after all their lies and secrecy. It’s really promising until about half way through.

Simple and boring

It’s not a bad story line. The concept is kind of cool since it’s different but outside of that there’s not much going on. There’s nothing happening. This definitely shouldn’t be compared to Harry Potter or hunger games because it got my hopes up and didn’t deliver.
